SendOutCards Receives the Mail Innovation Award by the United States Postal Service
On April 2, 2012, SendOutCards was awarded the Mail Innovation Award by the United States Postal Service at the National Postal Forum in Orlando, Florida.
According to the United States Postal Service, this award is given to postal customers who have demonstrated creativity in the use of the mail to drive significant business results and mail growth.
This award comes after SendOutCards spent over four years working with its customer base, its distributor base and the United States Postal Service to create a new first-class postage piece called picture postage. As the largest consumer of first-class postage in the United States, SendOutCards was chosen by the postal service as the first to ever use this innovative postage.
“SendOutCards is proud to have received this award,” said SendOutCards Chief Operating Officer. “We’ve invested years of meticulous time and energy to find ways to further help our customers and distributors touch the lives of millions more people. It’s a great feeling to have accomplished that and to be recognized for it with this great award.”

We have a Prison Ministry and send greeting cards to inmates monthly, through a. Campaign ! We were asked to send an inmate a. Birthday Card. She has been in prison 10years and she is 28. (You are not allowed to send anything to inmates except a card or letter) We prayed and sent 4 Brownies along with the card! The inmate wrote a wonderful letter about her Birthday Surprise of receiving the Brownies ! She was thrilled! (The officer thought it was a book from a publisher, or she would not have gotten it ) they admitted that if they knew it was Brownies, they would have eaten them ! 🙂. It was the best present she ever got in her 10 years there!
Do you know the value of sending 1 card and a 2-pack of brownies???? An insurance broker sent a card and brownies to a random person whose insurance policy was coming due in April…..well it turns out the guy was so impressed (and he could not even remember who is agent was) he turned all his business over to the broker, and the policies are worth over $50,000…..moral of the story……service and gratitude works.
Got listing because of SOC!!! I have a new customer who is a RE agent. She had an open house and decided to send the people who attended, all “Thank You” for attending my open house and it was very nice to meet you cards. A few weeks later, she received a call from a woman who wanted her to list her house. (she did not know this person) When the agent asked the woman how she found her, the woman told her…”I was at a friends house and saw a “Thank You” card you had sent her for attending an open house. I had never seen anything like that and I told my friend THAT is the person I want listing my house!” My customer then met with her and got a $400,000 listing!
