God Usually Reveals the Next Step…Not the Whole Journey
“Choosing Faith. Live with Purpose.”
Have you ever wished God would show you the entire plan before asking you to move?
I know I have.
We like certainty.
We want to know where the road leads, how everything will work out, and whether we’ll succeed before we take the first step.
But that’s usually not how faith works.
More often than not…
God gives us just enough light for the next step.
Not the next ten.
Not the whole journey.
Just enough to keep trusting Him.
Looking back over my own life, I can see how beautifully God was working—even when I couldn’t.
One decision led to another.
One lesson prepared me for the next.
One season equipped me for the one that followed.
At the time, it didn’t always make sense.
Today, I can see His fingerprints all over the path.
If God had shown me everything years ago, I probably would have been overwhelmed.
Instead…
He simply asked me to trust Him one step at a time.
Maybe that’s where you are today.
Waiting for every answer before you’re willing to move.
Friend…
You don’t need to know the entire journey.
You only need enough faith for today’s step.
Obedience today opens the door for tomorrow.
The next step may seem small.
One phone call.
One application.
One apology.
One prayer.
One conversation.
One act of kindness.
Never underestimate what God can do through one faithful step.

Is there one step God has been prompting you to take that you’ve been postponing because you can’t yet see the whole picture?
🙏 Today’s Prayer
Lord, thank You that I don’t have to know everything to trust You. Give me the courage to take the next faithful step, knowing that You are already preparing the path ahead. Help me walk by faith instead of fear and trust that You will reveal what I need when I need it. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
