Not every mountain is worth the climb……

Define what is meaningful to YOU. Just because one coach or trainer says work 24/7 like no one else does so you can play like n one else does later…..doesn’t mean you have to, or that you are not giving it your all if you don’t.

What is meaningful to YOU?For me, my FAMILY has been #1 all my life.I started my journey back becoming self employed in 1993 when I was pregnant w our 2nd child……

Things have been rough, I have had some $10 months, some $100 some $100 months, some $10000 months (and many other numbers over the years……

But my FOCUS was and still is my FAMILY.

If you work so much that you neglect your family, you may be successful one day, but lose your family in the process…..then is that worth it?

I have heard many trainers say “treat your business like a business not a hobby” but in that some also say, if you are not working it 10-20 hours a day you are treating it like a hobby and not serious.

That is their opinion, and I disagree. This world and this life is about relationships…..Even if you are not married and don’t have kids, you still have other relationships in your life.

But everyone is different – you need to figure out what is important to you – and then yes, figure your schedule and WORK when you are working time on your schedule…..

Be PRESENT with your FAMILY and other RELATIONSHIPS when it is that time….

I have not always been perfect, and I have a workaholic mindset…..but I watch myself, and I have learned to schedule myself…..still a work in progress…..every day.

But I work consistently and productively when I am scheduled to work. that is the difference, and one of the big secrets to my success 🙂 <3

Is it true you have to get over it?

“It isn’t true that you *have* to *get over it*. It isn’t even true that you have to want to. No one else can understand what you have lost. No one else can bear the burden of your tribute to a love, to a life, to an identity now gone. What a privilege it is to feel deeply.” — Anne Lamott

When I speak on stages all over the world talking about #WeAllHaveChoices, steps in life, grief, being a widow, losing a loved one, etc….

I say this all the time….you NEVER get over it (and if you are reading this, please do not ever say this to any person….ever) ….yes if you are still breathing, there is a purpose, and you need to move forward, you need to grieve, cry, get mad, etc all those things, and you may have *triggers* the rest of your life…..It will be 7 years in two weeks or the most tragic loss of my life I never expected….then several more major losses pretty b2b after that for a few years….and I have shed many tears, and still there are *triggers* that happen that will bring back up re-living moments and tears all over again….

that is OKAY…..

Don’t ever let anyone tell you it is not! But the thing is to not *stay there*….cry, get mad, get angry, get sad, whatever the case may be….then move forward w whatever you need to do in life, business, ministry…..BREATHE, as you are breathing for a reason….find a way to help someone else, lift each other up…..life your life, find things to be grateful for, be grateful for the moments that you did have w that person, instead of focusing on the moments you will no longer get to have.

Live your life, love hard, cherish moments, celebrate memories, when that argument comes up, think about it, is it REALLY worth it? If yes, stand your ground, if not, let it go, let them be right, who cares…..treat people as if this will be the last time you will get to see them, because you never know, one of these days…..it will be <3

Relationship marketing is a new buzz word!

Relationship marketing is a new buzz word!

Marketing strategy is a big deal when it comes to business. But when people hear the words ‘Relationship Marketing” they want to know exactly, what “Relationship Marketing” is.

Generally, the curiosity is because of the word “Marketing.” Reason for the interest is because, marketing is a way to generate more ‘business,’ and ‘money’ which is the goal of any company.

Relationship marketing is a great format, and it’s essential to have a relationship marketing strategy in today’s day and age. Matter of fact if you don’t have a strategic plan in place for building relationships in business then your falling or getting left behind.

Notice ‘Relationship’ literally comes before ‘marketing.’ Building genuine, heartfelt relationships with other human beings without an attachment to marketing.

Josh Rossi is a perfect example of this. He owns and runs an online photography school, and he has worked on many charitable projects such as;

Justice League for Kids that went viral @ 240 million views

Avengers of Bullying @ 1 million views

What is sales?

What is sales?
Sales have transferred from an ‘Outside’ sales environment to an ‘inside’ sales environment. Whereby the time we are able to make our pitch, prospects know more about us than we know about ourselves.
Indeed, in this informational world, people have the opportunity to learn about you, and your service. Whether good or bad, this information is readily available before your prospects even meet you.
In today’s day and age the subject of ‘relationship marketing’ couldn’t be more critical to business owners, entrepreneurs & professional sales people no matter the industry.
It’s is about having;
A servant heart and;
Mindset
Hence, sales is the art of helping someone and giving back to your community.
Therefore, to help and give back, our mindset should be in such a place to have a servant’s heart. Simply put, there is no better way to succeed than to bring the best version of yourself to the table. It’s definitely true that we are all capable of being genuine and authentic.
One way of doing this is collaboration (sales vs. being pitchy) and here is how it’s done;
Start with your mindset
Lead with your heart, not your wallet
Have a normal conversation between 2 people
Inform yourself about the person you’re meeting with before you meet
In order to succeed as a salesperson, you must get to know people…period end of story!
Finally, sales is about relationships, and the more focus you put on building relationships, the more successful you’ll be in business, not to mention your personal life.
Well, who better to speak to us and teach us how to put this into practice in the New Year than Larry Levine, international and best-selling author of ‘Selling From The Heart.’
Larry knows and has 30 years experience in the world of the B2B technology space. Most importantly he knows what it takes to be a successful sales professional.
Take a look at this special interview on learning the whole premise of ‘Selling From The Heart’ …
