Laurie Delk is like many really great creative web builders and designers. True assets that people like Laurie have are often hidden secrets. I have made a living working on web projects since 1974 (it was called Arpanet) and am a cynic when it comes to web marketing. Overpromise and underdeliver is standard for Web Designers. Well Laurie has a bad habit of under-promising and over-delivering. What’s worse is she never toots her own horn. Do any of you know about the SHTML coding that she uses to build her pages (in these days where java script is a plague)? SHTML is much easier for search engines to read. That makes your website much more powerfully visable on the Internet. Does she tell you that? NO…it’s a secret! SHTML It is harder to code as she is whacking away at her text pad editor (real code writers use text pad). Does she ever tell you about the really neat stuff SECRET STUFF she is doing for you! NO! She is really terrible about telling you the real truth which is……. she under charges and over delivers! Look at the great code and color designs on the Distributor Rights Association web site that she did. The SECRET? Magnifico!

I enjoyed the time I had w/Laurie yesterday. To start off we used google handouts via the computer which made it more personal (because I thought the meeting would only be a phone meeting so this was even better).
