Laurie Delk - author, speaker, coach, trainer

Laurie's life journey is a testament to unwavering faith, entrepreneurial spirit, and the transformative power of resilience. Rooted in a lifelong foundation of Christian values, instilled from her upbringing and a pivotal move from Texas to Middle Tennessee in 1986, Laurie embarked on a path marked by both professional achievement and personal devotion.

In 1993, driven by a profound desire to nurture her growing family, Laurie made a courageous decision to transition from a decade-long, successful career as an accountant at a Fortune 500 company. This pivotal moment, coinciding with her husband's aspiration to pursue his calling in law enforcement, became a catalyst for a life dedicated to purpose and service. Through prayerful consideration, they embraced both paths, demonstrating a commitment to faith-led action.

God has uniquely privileged Laurie to serve Him in numerous capacities over the past few decades. Her entrepreneurial journey began with the inception of her web & graphics, branding, marketing, and design company. Recognizing her talents as gifts to be shared, she pledged to utilize her skills for divine purpose. This commitment manifested in the creation of over a thousand websites, marketing materials, training platforms, and courses for pastors, churches, evangelists, missionaries, colleges, and a diverse range of business clients. Her expertise extended to comprehensive rebranding initiatives, empowering organizations to articulate their vision with clarity and impact.

Beyond her business acumen, Laurie is a prolific author, having penned the best-selling books "Keep Those Clients" and "We All Have Choices," and co-founded the transformative "Gratitude Girls - 100 Day Gratitude Journal Challenge." She has also contributed her insights to three additional publications. As a sought-after motivational speaker and corporate sales trainer, Laurie inspires audiences with her authentic voice and empowering message, often called upon for special speaking engagements around the world. Her dedication to education is further evidenced by her five years of teaching at her children's Christian school and her subsequent decision to homeschool them, allowing her to balance her growing speaking career with her commitment to family.

Her mission to empower women to embrace their God-given potential has taken her across the globe, where she shares her wisdom and encouragement with diverse audiences. Laurie's life, however, has not been without profound challenges. In 2013, she experienced the devastating loss of her children's father in a tragic accident, navigating the complexities of grief while raising her four children, then aged 25, 18, 16, and 12.

Believing in God's guidance for her life, Laurie remarried in April 2020 to Kevin Radecki, following their meeting in December 2019. Laurie prayed for exactly what she wanted in a husband and God showed Himself strong in giving her more than she asked in a God-fearing and God-loving husband.

Laurie's unique experiences over the past few decades provide special insight and encouragement for those who take her courses. Her story is a powerful testament to the resilience of the human spirit, the transformative power of faith, and the profound impact of living a life dedicated to purpose and service. Her journey inspires others to embrace their own unique paths, to overcome adversity with grace, and to live with unwavering gratitude and purpose.

I hope your holidays were fantastic!

I hope your Holidays were fantastic!
The New Year is quickly approaching, and the next time you receive a message from me, it will be 2019.
I’m super excited to share these 5 key questions that will transform your sales & prospecting approach in 2019!
You see, prospecting is not what most salespeople think it is these days. What it used to be, is all about the sale and marketing. However, nowadays people don’t like to be sold to.
Due to today’s digital world, prospecting and marketing is a woven chain that is linked together. Even more, it’s critical that anybody in sales, learn how to market this woven chain by building relationships from the sales and prospecting side.
There are two aspects to sales;
Transactional and;
Relational
Transactional sales are still relational, but it happens in a quicker time frame. Let’s take door-to-door sales as an example. The process with transactional sales is building rapport quickly enough to get to the point of purchase.
Relational sales are made by meeting people where they’re at in their life. The bulk of salespeople fit into the Relational Sales category. Which is understanding your prospects “familiarity bubble.”
Mostly, the “familiarity bubble” and beginning of the relationship start along this woven chain. For instance, every time you touch your potential customer through;
Email
Phone call
Texting
Social Media messaging or;
Sending a card

You move into their familiarity bubble.
For this reason, you simply take the focus off of yourself by answering these five key questions, that your potential customer is asking themselves at the beginning of, and during the prospecting process;
Do I like you
Do you listen to me
Do I feel important or significant
Do you understand me
Do I trust you & believe you
Furthermore, this is where they begin to become comfortable in knowing, liking, and trusting you. At this time, you can move into sales and ask for commitments.
Consequently, this creates longevity and loyalty with customers that stick around for a long time.
I wish you a Happy & Prosperous 2019 and wanted to help you get your New Year business goals started off with a bang, by sharing this interview with Jeb Blount.
Jeb Blount is CEO and founder of Sales Gravy, and the bestselling Author of ten books and among the world’s most respected thought leaders on sales, leadership, and customer experience.

What is sales?

What is sales?
Sales have transferred from an ‘Outside’ sales environment to an ‘inside’ sales environment. Whereby the time we are able to make our pitch, prospects know more about us than we know about ourselves.
Indeed, in this informational world, people have the opportunity to learn about you, and your service. Whether good or bad, this information is readily available before your prospects even meet you.
In today’s day and age the subject of ‘relationship marketing’ couldn’t be more critical to business owners, entrepreneurs & professional sales people no matter the industry.
It’s is about having;
A servant heart and;
Mindset
Hence, sales is the art of helping someone and giving back to your community.
Therefore, to help and give back, our mindset should be in such a place to have a servant’s heart. Simply put, there is no better way to succeed than to bring the best version of yourself to the table. It’s definitely true that we are all capable of being genuine and authentic.
One way of doing this is collaboration (sales vs. being pitchy) and here is how it’s done;
Start with your mindset
Lead with your heart, not your wallet
Have a normal conversation between 2 people
Inform yourself about the person you’re meeting with before you meet
In order to succeed as a salesperson, you must get to know people…period end of story!
Finally, sales is about relationships, and the more focus you put on building relationships, the more successful you’ll be in business, not to mention your personal life.
Well, who better to speak to us and teach us how to put this into practice in the New Year than Larry Levine, international and best-selling author of ‘Selling From The Heart.’
Larry knows and has 30 years experience in the world of the B2B technology space. Most importantly he knows what it takes to be a successful sales professional.
Take a look at this special interview on learning the whole premise of ‘Selling From The Heart’ …

If you ever thought about Christmas cards….

If you have ever thought, I don’t have time to send Christmas cards, or they are too expensive…..I CHALLENGE you to read this…..

ANOTHER REASON TO SEND CHRISTMAS/HOLIDAY CARDS:

From April: – “Sierra and I are having the pleasure of spending this weekend with my 96 year old Grandpa.

I wanted to share this with you…. For those who think actual “holiday cards” are not that important to send out please continue to read.

This holiday will be my Grandpa’s first in 70 years that he will be celebrating it without my Grandma.

Yesterday, Sierra and I had taken him “to town” for dinner and when we were returning to his house I asked did we need to check his mail? He said “yes!”

Sierra got the mail and he asked “what did I get?” She said “a lot of Christmas cards!” He said “who are they from?”

Sierra was telling him the names on the envelopes.

We parked our car and helped him into the house.

The very first thing he did was sit down at the kitchen table and started opening every single card and SMILED as he was doing this.

He would REMINISCE about each person as he was reading their card.

It brought a smile to my face and made me realize greeting cards are still a timeless piece no matter how old you are!”
