Gratitude

I am grateful and thankful for Kevin n the way we are able to literally just talk, for hours, about so many things, today he came home from playing Pickleball w one of our sons, n we just talked on the couches for hours, then we went for a drive to look at our furniture store an hour away, talking all the way there, then took the long way home, talking about stuff, then came home n I made cauliflower pizzas 🍕 n then we talked more 😀💜 #CommunicationIsKey

I am grateful and thankful for our builder got all the drywall done last week and the front picture window area is almost done n looking so much better! I can’t wait till it’s done! 😃⭐️ #GettingCloser was praying for Valentine’s Day to move in since that’s the day we actually talked about all this move we ended up doing last year, unfortunately don’t look like we will make that, but I’m really praying by the end of the month. 🙏💙

I am grateful and thankful for Facebook, Instagram, and linked in, being able to keep in touch w friends n family – even though I love traveling n visiting in person more, being able to be ‘close’ virtually to connect w each other n see pictures to stay involved #RelationshipsAreImportant 💜

I am grateful and thankful Kevin is willing to turn off politics for me when ‘I’m done’ #EnoughNegativity 😂

I am grateful and thankful for a friend referring me to another #Widow to be able to help. While I would have never wished for those ‘shoes’ I’m grateful God has led me in a way I can help others

I am grateful and thankful for Kevin talking to me every day when I drive home, I just love our talks, we talk about literally everything, and I just love the company on my drive. (Especially since for 2 years we’ve barely been separated lol 😂

I am grateful and thankful for my friend Linda calling me today to have a chat! Was great to catch up! #LoveMyFriends

I am grateful and thankful for Harrahs giving us a room at 5am! After not booking a hotel in advance cuz we weren’t sure how far we’d feel like driving, we decided to start looking in Baton Rouge at 2am, w the LSU game they were all sold out so we kept driving n stopping n checking hotels, he’d go in n ask, I’d call others around n no one had anything till we got to Biloxi almost 5am smh 🤦‍♀️ we’ve both done it this way many times but never had this experience lol 😂

I am grateful and thankful for Curtis arranging to drop off my new truck to us at the airport so we didn’t have to wait n could just take off

I am grateful and thankful for the beautiful weather n great food here! Such a relaxing day n looking at Gods beauty n realizing all this was under water not long ago, makes me also remember the Nashville flood years ago, and how protected we’ve been n to be more grateful and grateful we can travel like this n read all the history all along the beach while we walked 💜

I am grateful and thankful for Kevin taking us to dinner w his son n his wife, and their cousin 😀

I am grateful and thankful for getting to visit for the day w my daughter-in-love, seeing the nursery all ready n talking for hours 😀

I am grateful and thankful for despite us going back n forth on taking out the fireplace or not, I do like how much more it opened up the room and some of the wood behind the brick n above needed to be replaced so it was probably a good thing.

I am grateful and thankful for our roof getting done today! As slow as many things seems to have gone, it gets exciting seeing more done n getting closer!

I am grateful and thankful for my kitchen design specs 2nd proof, it’s coming along n getting excited on that!!!

I am grateful and thankful for Kevin taking us into town to have lunch n play miniature golf w the family

I am grateful and thankful for Jason n Angie inviting us to spend time w them on their vacation this week!

I am grateful and thankful for the woods all around our home out here n going out for a walk

I am grateful and thankful for being able to relax w Kevin and just enjoy our stay in the cabin as much as I’m used to running n doing on all our vacations to get the mist of our time, it was nice to sit back n relax together tonight also
