Laurie Delk - author, speaker, coach, trainer

Laurie's life journey is a testament to unwavering faith, entrepreneurial spirit, and the transformative power of resilience. Rooted in a lifelong foundation of Christian values, instilled from her upbringing and a pivotal move from Texas to Middle Tennessee in 1986, Laurie embarked on a path marked by both professional achievement and personal devotion.

In 1993, driven by a profound desire to nurture her growing family, Laurie made a courageous decision to transition from a decade-long, successful career as an accountant at a Fortune 500 company. This pivotal moment, coinciding with her husband's aspiration to pursue his calling in law enforcement, became a catalyst for a life dedicated to purpose and service. Through prayerful consideration, they embraced both paths, demonstrating a commitment to faith-led action.

God has uniquely privileged Laurie to serve Him in numerous capacities over the past few decades. Her entrepreneurial journey began with the inception of her web & graphics, branding, marketing, and design company. Recognizing her talents as gifts to be shared, she pledged to utilize her skills for divine purpose. This commitment manifested in the creation of over a thousand websites, marketing materials, training platforms, and courses for pastors, churches, evangelists, missionaries, colleges, and a diverse range of business clients. Her expertise extended to comprehensive rebranding initiatives, empowering organizations to articulate their vision with clarity and impact.

Beyond her business acumen, Laurie is a prolific author, having penned the best-selling books "Keep Those Clients" and "We All Have Choices," and co-founded the transformative "Gratitude Girls - 100 Day Gratitude Journal Challenge." She has also contributed her insights to three additional publications. As a sought-after motivational speaker and corporate sales trainer, Laurie inspires audiences with her authentic voice and empowering message, often called upon for special speaking engagements around the world. Her dedication to education is further evidenced by her five years of teaching at her children's Christian school and her subsequent decision to homeschool them, allowing her to balance her growing speaking career with her commitment to family.

Her mission to empower women to embrace their God-given potential has taken her across the globe, where she shares her wisdom and encouragement with diverse audiences. Laurie's life, however, has not been without profound challenges. In 2013, she experienced the devastating loss of her children's father in a tragic accident, navigating the complexities of grief while raising her four children, then aged 25, 18, 16, and 12.

Believing in God's guidance for her life, Laurie remarried in April 2020 to Kevin Radecki, following their meeting in December 2019. Laurie prayed for exactly what she wanted in a husband and God showed Himself strong in giving her more than she asked in a God-fearing and God-loving husband.

Laurie's unique experiences over the past few decades provide special insight and encouragement for those who take her courses. Her story is a powerful testament to the resilience of the human spirit, the transformative power of faith, and the profound impact of living a life dedicated to purpose and service. Her journey inspires others to embrace their own unique paths, to overcome adversity with grace, and to live with unwavering gratitude and purpose.

I found one of his notes to me

I found one of his notes to me…..he always wrote me love notes and put on my desk so I would see when I got to work…(a perk of having an office at home) lol
Oh how I miss him talking to me and sending me notes…after almost 5 years, still love and miss you every single day.

I’m sending you one more picture, since I didn’t think that either one turned out very good. That way you can pick the least worst one, ha ha .

I’m sitting here comparing my face in this picture to the pictures that I recently put up on the right side of the computer of us in the photo booth. It is so funny, I look like such a little boy in the ones from the photo booth ( I also can’t believe that I used to wear two necklaces at once – what a dork ! ) I used to hate looking so young, now I wish I wasn’t so old !

You, of course, look like God’s gift to men in those pictures! How I ever got you to go out with me is a mystery. We must have just recently gotten your engagement ring, you are trying so hard to show it off in the first two ; )

I had forgotten about that until I found the pictures again ( I knew exactly which one of the ten huge albums that it was in, by the way ) However I thought
that I remembered the pictures being black and white. I must have been thinking about the pictures of you and your friend Dawn in a photo booth ( also one of my favorites of you ) I think that my very most favorite picture of you is in photo album 1, you are wearing a red top with white sleeves, your hair is very curly and black, and you are smiling very big, with your eyes squinting and your braces showing ( very very sexy ) I’ve always meant to ask you where you were & how old you were in that picture, but I always forget to ask you the next time I see you, and also
I’m almost afraid to ask, in case an old boyfriend took the picture, or you cut him out of the picture(s) ( there are two of them ), because I wouldn’t want to ruin it for me.

Anyway, I am going to stop rambling now because I know that you have a lot of other mail that you have to read, and I don’t want you to have to spend all day on the computer.
I love you, Laurie. P.S. don’t let me sleep too long today, and be thinking of when you want to go to the gym. xoxoxoxoxo

Write customers personal handwritten notes frequently

Danielle Kennedy, in her book Seven Figure Selling says,
“Write customers personal, handwritten notes frequently. If you run into an old customer anywhere, follow up with a handwritten card.
In this electronic communication age of email, the handwritten card with a postage stamp gets more immediate attention than ever.”

That quick thought of “I should contact that person” is what I call a “prompting”; an out-of-the-blue remembrance of a particular person.

If you’ve personally observed promptings, you’ve noticed that they only last in your mind for about 60-seconds, and then they’re gone.

My cards company provides a way to capture that sixty-second moment. Capture that opportunity to make a difference; to make your friend or client feel special. To make them aware that we are thinking of them – by remembering events and dates that are important in their lives.

Thank you cards are one of the most powerful tools in building a huge network

Bob Burg, in his book Endless Referrals says,

“Thank you cards are one of the most powerful tools in building a huge network, both professionally and socially.

People with the most impressive networks are typically avid card writers.

It’s one of the best techniques for long-term winning without intimidation. I suggest getting into the habit immediately of sending out cards.”

We all wish that we were better – I can help you with that!

SOC is a tested & proven company… always innovating and improving over time… and that’s why I am a SendOutCards Evangelist.

Below is the final criteria list I used for choosing this company. It comes from my own core values and the need that – what I do, how I do it and with whom I do it with are in complete alignment with my purpose, passion and why…

1. Does it Have Real Purpose?
2. Can God Bless it?
3. Can I Fully Respect It?
4. Can Others Respect What I Do?
5. Can It Elevate My Own Purpose & Why In Life?
6. Can It Keep My Passion Long term?
7. Is It In Alignment With My Personal Brand of “Faith, Family, Friends, Fun, Fitness, Freedom & Forever”

This is just some of the reasons, of why I joined this great company.

Don’t wait for perfection

“Perfection causes delays and procrastination. You will never deliver if you wait for perfection.” Dan Miller
What are you putting off doing till you have it perfect? Learn all the rules, info etc? Just do it and figure it out along the way.

If talking to people about your business, just talk….,you can’t say the wrong thing to the right person….and the more you talk n practice, the better you will get.

If it’s cleaning n decluttering your home, just do it, don’t look to perfect it (this is one of my struggles! Lol) I out in my calendar/schedule 15 months minutes every day, where I focus on just that….some days it’s more, but I find when I just do a little each time I get less overwhelmed)

If it’s writing your book (a same thing, I’m in the middle of my 2nd book) just writing n focusing 15 min a day, helps with not getting frustrated n overwhelmed….if you get ideas n can write more, great! Do it! But breaking up into smaller spurts helps).

If it’s personal development n reading a book, same thing, do some, every day! After a year it adds up!!!

Same goes for anything else! Just do it, and do it ‘some’ every day.

Who are you? Not what do you do, or what do you sell, but WHO ARE YOU? Do you know? Do you want to know?

Who are you? Not what do you do, or what do you sell, but WHO ARE YOU? Do you know? Do you want to know?

They say “people buy people, not websites” “people buy people, not products” — right? So, why do you want people to *buy you*?

What are YOU offering that others that sell the same product/service you do, don’t offer?

HOW are you different from your competition?

Or HOW can you ENHANCE the marketplace to even HELP your competition? (why help them? because what goes around comes around, and the more you help others, the more it WILL come back to you) It is a *Universal Law* and God made our Universe 🙂

What are you doing in building your *personal brand*? Internally and Externally – it is who you have become or are becoming, because of *your story* — so it is unique to you, not anyone else, because you are the only one that has lived or is living your story.

You want to be your authentic and expressive self, that when you speak, and move, it transfers to others, your belief, your value, your story, your *you*……and that is how you will *connect* with others.
