Laurie Delk - author, speaker, coach, trainer

Laurie's life journey is a testament to unwavering faith, entrepreneurial spirit, and the transformative power of resilience. Rooted in a lifelong foundation of Christian values, instilled from her upbringing and a pivotal move from Texas to Middle Tennessee in 1986, Laurie embarked on a path marked by both professional achievement and personal devotion.

In 1993, driven by a profound desire to nurture her growing family, Laurie made a courageous decision to transition from a decade-long, successful career as an accountant at a Fortune 500 company. This pivotal moment, coinciding with her husband's aspiration to pursue his calling in law enforcement, became a catalyst for a life dedicated to purpose and service. Through prayerful consideration, they embraced both paths, demonstrating a commitment to faith-led action.

God has uniquely privileged Laurie to serve Him in numerous capacities over the past few decades. Her entrepreneurial journey began with the inception of her web & graphics, branding, marketing, and design company. Recognizing her talents as gifts to be shared, she pledged to utilize her skills for divine purpose. This commitment manifested in the creation of over a thousand websites, marketing materials, training platforms, and courses for pastors, churches, evangelists, missionaries, colleges, and a diverse range of business clients. Her expertise extended to comprehensive rebranding initiatives, empowering organizations to articulate their vision with clarity and impact.

Beyond her business acumen, Laurie is a prolific author, having penned the best-selling books "Keep Those Clients" and "We All Have Choices," and co-founded the transformative "Gratitude Girls - 100 Day Gratitude Journal Challenge." She has also contributed her insights to three additional publications. As a sought-after motivational speaker and corporate sales trainer, Laurie inspires audiences with her authentic voice and empowering message, often called upon for special speaking engagements around the world. Her dedication to education is further evidenced by her five years of teaching at her children's Christian school and her subsequent decision to homeschool them, allowing her to balance her growing speaking career with her commitment to family.

Her mission to empower women to embrace their God-given potential has taken her across the globe, where she shares her wisdom and encouragement with diverse audiences. Laurie's life, however, has not been without profound challenges. In 2013, she experienced the devastating loss of her children's father in a tragic accident, navigating the complexities of grief while raising her four children, then aged 25, 18, 16, and 12.

Believing in God's guidance for her life, Laurie remarried in April 2020 to Kevin Radecki, following their meeting in December 2019. Laurie prayed for exactly what she wanted in a husband and God showed Himself strong in giving her more than she asked in a God-fearing and God-loving husband.

Laurie's unique experiences over the past few decades provide special insight and encouragement for those who take her courses. Her story is a powerful testament to the resilience of the human spirit, the transformative power of faith, and the profound impact of living a life dedicated to purpose and service. Her journey inspires others to embrace their own unique paths, to overcome adversity with grace, and to live with unwavering gratitude and purpose.

Summer Kindness

<img class="size-full wp-image-171" src="http://lauriedelk.me/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/33590667_M-300×300.jpg" alt="33590667 – kindness word inside love cloud heart shape blue sky background only" width="300" height="300" srcset="http://lauriedelk alternative to microsoft project.me/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/33590667_M-300×300.jpg 300w, http://lauriedelk.me/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/33590667_M-300×300-150×150.jpg 150w” sizes=”(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px” />

Sometimes, in the heat of summer, our kindness meter bottoms out. We are hot, easily irritated and short tempered. Is there a magical way to make those heat-fueled feelings go away? There is, and it is called kindness! No matter how bad of a day you have had, how irritated you are at the higher temps or how many times the kids have yelled at each other, a little dose of kindness, given or received, makes everything better! What can you do to spread summer happiness? Keep reading to find out!

Surprise! Who doesn’t love a good surprise? The surprise doesn’t have to be big, because any size surprise makes everything better! Bake some cookies and pass them out to the neighborhood kids or have your kids draw pictures for the neighbors. It doesn’t matter what it is, just as long as it is a surprise!

H2-Oh that’s a good idea! When the heat makes being outside uncomfortable, think of those who have to work out in it! Greet the mail carrier with an ice cold bottle of water. Take sports drinks to the workers fixing the power lines in front of your house. Offer a cold drink to the neighbor who is mowing their yard. It is amazing how much happiness is packed into one of those little cold bottles!

Make another batch! If you are going to be firing up the stove to cook dinner, why not throw in some extra ingredients and make two batches? Surprise your neighbor (or anyone!) with a nice hot meal that they did not have to prepare. Get together a group of friends in your neighborhood and arrange a dinner exchange… guaranteeing you get out of cooking at least once!

Hose them off! Drag out the hose, turn on the sprinkler and open it up to the neighborhood! Let all the kids (and adults!) come by for a cool-down the old fashioned way. Pass out Popsicles or frozen treats and let them have fun the simple way!

We are made up of so much kindness that it is only fair to share it! So the next time the summer elements start to take their toll, don’t succumb. Instead spread that summer kindness everywhere!

How long are you going to HOLD THE SECRET about what you do?

If you TRULY BELIEVE it will help you and others, why don’t you SHARE it with everyone you know and love?

Or are you going to simply SHARE it with others, let them decide (not sell), and you will see the MORE you SHARE IT, the more others will say YES (and some no’s) and the more $$$$$ you will make, and the more HAPPINESS you can spread!!!!

What are your REAL LIFE DREAMS? If you had, let’s say $200,000 EVERY SINGLE MONTH coming in…..what would you do with it? Make a list of the things, in DETAIL what you would do with that money – and the money RE-comes back in EVERY month, so the 1st of every month – make that list again, what you are going to spend it on……

Yes at the beginning many people would upgrade their house, their cars, their clothes….but that is *really good money*!!! and it keeps coming back! What else would you do? WHO would you help? People, charities, etc….What kind of AMAZING things could you do for others and accomplish – if you had some help money wise? Think of those things, write it out IN DETAILS, DREAM on PAPER……(just for your eyes, no one else, unless you choose to share it) but WRITE IT DOWN, IN DETAILS, DREAM on that PAPER……and you will find…..if you do it, like I said and then you go to work and share it…….it WILL come TRUE…..

I want to see you, and stand by your side, and cheer you on – of all your hopes and dreams!!!! Many of you I know personally, and you have told me some of your true hearts desires……Let’s get out there and DO IT!!!! It won’t happen as we *sit on the sidelines* and your life is not going backwards, one day we don’t want to say “I wish I……..” — LET’s MAKE THAT DIFFERENCE FOR GOOD IN THE WORLD!!!!

It takes all kinds

It takes all kinds

Here’s a challenge for you: If you had to describe your mother (or any mother in your life) in one word, what would it be?

This challenge raises the question of how a woman with so many facets to her life can be described in one word.

Maybe the mom in your life works a forty (or fifty or sixty) hour week but still manages to be there for her family.

Maybe the mom in your life works at home and takes pride in creating a welcoming environment for family and friends.

Maybe the mom in your life just went back to school to follow a lifelong dream.

Maybe the mom in your life has a brand new baby and is experiencing the thrill of motherhood for the first time while learning to survive on very little sleep.

Maybe the mom in your life is gallantly fighting a disease like cancer.

Maybe the mom in your life is the one everyone turns to for comfort or advice.

Maybe the mom in your life is determined to make not only the lives of her family better but the lives of others better too.

Maybe the mom in your life bakes the best chocolate chip cookies ever!

Maybe the mom in your life is always ready for a new adventure.

Maybe the mom in your life wakes instantly at the first whimper from a child having a bad dream.

One thing is certain: Every mom in your life is a combination of characteristics, a special formula that makes her the wonderfully unique woman she is. It takes all kinds to make the world go round. This statement is never more true than when it comes to mothers. However, there is one word that can describe them all. It’s AMAZING!

Healthy Salmon and Broccoli Dinner

This is one of my favorite healthy dinners. I get wild caught alaskan salmon, put it in a skillet on #4, put a little real butter in the pan, then sprinkle on top some garlic powder, chili powder, sea salt, pepper, and Bragg’s Nutritional Yeast. Put a lid on it, and cook 10 min. Come back, flip them, and scoop any butter/seasoning mix back on top of the salmon. Cook another 10 min w lid.

Broccoli – I get green giant broccoli florets, or I buy organic fresh and just use the tops. Put a little real butter in a skillet, sprinkle with garlic powder, onion salt, and some Mrs Dash southwest chipotle seasoning. Simmer over #4 w lid, while the salmon cooks.

I promise, this will make the pickiest eaters, love eating healthy 🙂
