Laurie’s Lessons
Negativity breeds negativity: Complaining or posting negatively can create a toxic environment and discourage others.
Think about if you just signed up a super excited customer or associate – and then they join the group and first thing they see is something major negative – what do you think that makes them think about their recent decision?
Undermines team morale: A positive and supportive atmosphere is crucial for success. Negative posts can dampen enthusiasm and motivation.
Damages your personal brand: Your online presence reflects on you. Consistent negativity can make you appear unprofessional and unapproachable.
Destroys trust: Complaining about the company or products can erode trust among your team members and potential customers.
Focus on solutions, not problems: Instead of complaining, focus on finding solutions and sharing positive experiences.
Respect the group’s purpose: The group is meant to uplift and support each other. Negative posts disrupt this positive environment.
Seek private support: If you’re facing challenges, reach out to your upline or mentor privately for guidance and support. ANY negative or complaining (as there WILL be times and situations you have that in ANY company) — needs to ONLY go upline – not downline and definitely not crossline.
Lead by example: Be a positive influence and encourage others to share their successes and celebrate their wins.
Remember the bigger picture: Your success is tied to the success of your team. Focus on building relationships and fostering a supportive community.
Practice gratitude: Shift your focus to the positive aspects of your business and express gratitude for the opportunities you have.
