We Teach By Example

Children don’t just hear us… they study us.
They absorb our tone, our reactions, our perspective, and our habits long before they understand our words. Little ones learn optimism, resilience, faith, and gratitude by watching the big people they grow up with — and they also learn fear, negativity, and doubt the very same way. 💛✨

But here’s the powerful truth… this doesn’t only apply to children.
Adults are shaped by their environment too. We become like the people we spend the most time with — their attitude, their mindset, their energy, and their standards inevitably influence our own.

The difference is this:
As adults, we have the privilege — and responsibility — to choose our circle.
We get to decide who we allow into our atmosphere.
We get to choose voices that uplift, inspire, challenge, and stretch us toward our calling.
And we also get to step away from the people who drain our joy, dampen our dreams, or pull us into patterns that don’t serve the life God is calling us to build.

Every day, you have the opportunity to choose positivity, choose growth, choose gratitude, and choose environments that support your destiny. Surround yourself with people who live out the values you want to strengthen in yourself. 🌟

Because whether we realize it or not…
We teach by example. We lead by presence.

How to Break the Cycle of Excuses

Excuses feel comforting in the moment… but they quietly steal our progress, our joy, our confidence, and the future God designed for us.
And the hardest part? Most excuses sound reasonable.
“I’m tired.”
“I’ll start Monday.”
“It’s not the right time.”
“I’m too overwhelmed.”
“I just don’t feel ready.”

But the truth is powerful:
Excuses keep us stuck. Choices set us free. ✨

Every time we delay a dream, avoid a hard conversation, skip the healthy habit, or ignore the nudge God is giving us… we’re building a pattern.
Excuses become a cycle.
Cycles become comfort zones.
And comfort zones become cages.

You can break ANY cycle the moment you stop justifying it. 💥

You break the cycle of excuses by:

I once spoke at a #KellerWilliams #RealEstate office to train about 50 amazing #Realtors on the power of #RelationshipMarketing — how to truly stay connected with your clients and referral partners in meaningful ways. 💌

While there, one of the agents shared a story that stuck with me. He said he stopped at a house with a “For Sale by Owner” sign in the yard. 🏡

He simply walked up and asked if the homeowner might consider letting him represent her as her agent.

She was 82 years old and said she attended church with several real estate agents — but not one of them had ever asked for her business.

So she gave it to him. 🙌
And here’s the twist…
She also happened to own 49 properties that she was selling. 😳

All because he had the courage to ask.
