Coaching & Training – Daily Methods of Operation in your network marketing business

So tonight I am going to talk to you about daily method of operations. So your Dmo.
one of the huge things in business is. If you want to have a success in your business, then then these are just some of the things that you should do. if you watch other people and other successful people, successful entrepreneurs in any business you’ll find out that success is a process, and it doesn’t happen for anyone overnight most times like. unless they’re like the trust fund Baby, or they, you know, came from another Network Marketing Company, and they switched companies, and they brought a huge leg with them.
but they already worked for that leg in the other company right? So it still didn’t happen overnight for them. So 1 One thing I heard a long time ago is you will be recognized in public for what you do in private, and so that is huge like when you get recognized on the team, calls on the corporate call or at corporate events. When you go to them. you’re going to be recognized in public for what you do in private, and so remember that also, like if you’re thinking about somebody else, and maybe you know somebody else joined around the same time you did, but they got promotion before you did right. Be careful that you don’t get envious of that right.
Make sure that you that you cheer them on that you root them on, and be happy for them, but also know that they got recognized in public for what they did in private. So
if you didn’t get there before they did, maybe they just worked more than you, and you never know. And sometimes, you know, people do get lucky somebody. They sign up someone else, and that person goes to town, and that’s great. We all want that right.

But still the more you work, and the more you share it with other people, the more you do. The demos and you patch other people, and they see that the difference in that balance test
the more results you’re going to have. And so just remember that you know it’s always the work that’s behind the scenes that’s going on, but successfully. It’s clues, and so you can all always ask successful people what they’re doing. Most times people will share it with you.
and so be careful if you ask somebody, and they’re immediately like Oh, yes, that’s what I teach in my coaching class. Blah blah blah blah, and they invite you to some program or whatever to pay for. I I coach for a living also. So you know, I believe in that kind of stuff. But I also don’t like for this, for you guys on my team. I coach You guys for free. I don’t charge for my team for anything.

Be careful that somebody is just trying to pitch you on something on selling something, too, so but you can always ask people what they do to become successful like.
Give me 5 tips of what you did to get to this level and create something of value every day on your social media. So do like, I said before. Do a a post of a great testimonial and do it on all your social media channel. Find a picture, create a picture. Add that with your post. If you want to make different ones in different ways and add it to all your channel, you can turn a picture into a video to add it onto your tik Tok: I haven’t figured out how to do that yet, but but I know some people do that so different things you can do to to create different things, and some people like some people, might see a post on your wall. But some people might be the ones that watch all the stories, so do a little bit of both. So that way. Different people that that look at different ways. You might reach someone else.

every day go to the instant results Testimonial group, read a couple of testimonials, invite a few people just hit, invite, and add a couple of your friends on your friend list, I try to add, like 5 a day every single day and so some people will join it just because some people, you know they they won’t, either. So it it doesn’t matter. Just just hit 5 a day, and but then go Add people to your friendless every day go to different groups where you have mutual things in common, like, you know, like for me homeschool mom, which I don’t have my kids in school anymore. But I’ve been in several of those Christian moms. Christian women, If you knit, you know, join some knitting groups.

We have the the Spyder Riders Motorcycle Group. We don’t have one yet, but my husband’s looking at one of those. So I joined a couple of those groups.

So think about different words where you have common interests or hobbies and join a few different groups and the same thing. Don’t, you know i’m not. I don’t ever advocate, you know, spending half your life on social media. But go in there and read a few things like comments,, add them as a friend, and then, once they’re on your friend list, they’re gonna start seeing your testimonials on your page.
so it’s just a way to add to your friendless to get that engagement up and to expand your reach.

like I said, add, add a post to your social media to get people engaged. It could be like anything like ask a question like a lot of times. People do you know different weird questions, and so like we had a comment earlier today on another call I was on, and somebody made comment about a cassette tape and somebody else obviously a lot younger Asked what that was. and So ask a question on your social media. You know who remembers what a cassette tape is, or who remember what remembers what a Rolodex is right. Most the kids nowadays would have no idea what a Rolodex is
But but if you ask a question and you get people to comment below it. It increases your algorithm. So that’s the thing that you’re wanting to get on Facebook Instagram tic tok Linkedin. You want to get people engaged, and to quote the answer, question or comment.

post a selfie? You know most most women that post selfies, you know. Then all your friends are going to support you, and they’re going to say, oh. oh, gorgeous! And whatever oh, I love that top, whatever, but that increases your your engagement. So then, when you do post those testimonials.
then that will end up showing up more as well.

Post a few picture of the kids, the grandkid, one of your animal, post a cute motivational quote that you find the same thing. You just you want others to engage on your social media. you want to also like comments on other people’s social media, too. So I said this earlier. But just take like 5 min every day, and to scroll down, and just like on a bunch of things, or love on a bunch of things, comment on a few things because the more you do it on other people, then other people are going to reciprocate that, and they’re gonna do it on yours, and that’s gonna it boost your engagement. So then, when you do do like those testimonial posts or things like that, it’s gonna reach more people.

also set timers, if you need to, you know. So I know that the social media trap can be a trap for some people. So set timers if you need to. I used to do that all the time. I would set 5, 1015 min timers all day long, until I got pretty consistent with with setting times for myself on things automatically and then start other conversations with other people. So keep track of where you talk to people and who you talk to keep a list. So you remember to follow up Did you see someone post about being in pain? Reach out to them and let them know that you found something incredible And but then keep a list of who you talk to, and where you talk to them on like what platform, but that way you could follow back up with them at least once a week and say different things like, hey? I just saw this testimonial. I just want to follow back up with you. I know you asked about the patches I noticed you hadn’t ordered yet, or whatever just checking in with you see, if you have any other question, or I saw this testimonial, and I thought of you, so I wanted to share it with you.

Whatever it’s. Fortune is in the follow up right? So you want to always follow up with people and then make sure you’re getting on The group Call, the team calls, the corporate calls the same thing I don’t want. I don’t want to take up everybody’s every single night of the week. and so that’s why I put like our 2 Monday night calls right back to back.
But and then Tuesday night the opportunity call. But try to be on as many of them as you can, and engage on them, because when you’re closer to the fire you stay warmer right When you ever go to a fire pit, you know or a bonfire. The closer you are to the fire you stay warmer. The more you listen, the more you engage, the more you get involved, the more you’re going to learn, and the more that you learn the better that you’re going to do.

also your your customers, and your reps. Make sure that you follow up with them, too, just because Oh, they signed up. I don’t have to talk to them anymore. Right? Go on to the next people. No, no, no, no! You want to follow back up with people. Check in with them. Make sure that they did. If they’re not local, make sure that they did the balance test as soon as they get their order. Ask them how they felt on it. Check in with them. How they, you know. Tell, make sure to tell them where 24 h.
: and put it. Put a new one on right at the end of the 24 h, and we that consistently, and see how they’re feeling. and so always always follow back up with them and check in on them so that way. They always know that they’ve got your support for me. You know everyone on my team. I send out an email whenever someone joins our team, letting them know about our group and has

I give out my personal cell phone number. My email people can always message me on Facebook, linkedin Instagram tick to wherever you can find me. You can always send me a message.
so you can also always do. You know, 3 way calls with me can do 3 late text. A lot of people do that or 3 way messages on messenger. you know. Of course, as our group get bigger I get busier, but i’m always here for everybody. So you know, always know that I’m here for you. If you ever want me to help you to answer someone. If you have any other questions.

Make sure your team knows that, too, that it’s not just it’s not just you right. You’ve got a team that’s supporting you, and if I don’t know the answer, I go to Steve.
And so and many of you know that, too, that you know the e, or even if I do know the answer, but or I think I know the answer, I might give you that. But then I go to see even I find out to clarify it or to corporate. I’ve gone directly to J. I have this information, too, and so you know it’s just, and that’s that’s my line is me, and then Steve, and then the company. So you know we are close to the top. We are one of the biggest, strongest teams in the company. And so I want to keep us that way and to keep growing, and so we can all do better. And so one other huge thing is personally develop every day.

So this is probably like one of my number One things for success and and all my years of networking, and is one. I heard this a long time ago. Leaders our readers.
It’s not just a statement. Make sure that you’re reading every day. If you don’t have time to read a lot. Don’t worry about it the same thing. I’m not trying to schedule all your time throughout the day but you know, like, if nothing else keep a book in the bathroom, and when you’re in there a couple of times a day. 3 for 5 min right. But but, like i’m, not one of those people I’ve probably read One year I read over a 100 books in a year, and i’m not one of those people that can sit down with a good book and read for 2 h.
I I get distracted. I I get bored so I read one or 2 pages like literally 5 to 10 min top at a time. I’ll have. Normally, I’ll have 2 or 3 books on my desk at a time that i’m reading in the middle of because I the same thing, because I like to read on different things. But but do do that, and if you do that even 5 to 10 min a day every day. Then you’re gonna have a couple of books read throughout the year. You can ask me for recommendations. If you want some, You can also look for motivational podcasts on on on your podcast channel. You can also look on Youtube, and so you can just find different things like I used to on Youtube. There’s one called Motiversity, so like University and motivate together. and I would do that when I would be at the at the gym on the elliptical whenever I drive. I’m always listening to some sort of training. So I have, you know
that’s the cool thing with our phones, and you know we have access to just about anything anytime nowadays. I look up different podcasts on business, and i’m listening to some sort of training every single day when I drive.
and then the last thing is, Take time for your health every day. So, even if you make sense of money, even if you make it really big in the company. If you’re not healthy, then you’re not going to be happy, so try to eat a little bit more of the right foods. Try to move your body a little bit every day. You know you don’t have the same thing. You don’t have to be die hard in the gym all the time, like my body Builder son is. But you know you could do things and add things in little pocket.

One thing I’ve read that I started implementing a couple of months ago was every day when you get up in the morning and you brush your teeth, then do 5 push ups just pushing in on the calendar of the bathroom and so before bed, do 5 to 10 deep breath in deep through your nose, out deep through your mouth that will help you to relax and help you to go to sleep. Better so those that are just a few tips on that. And so i’m going to stop the recording right now.

How having a Home Based Business can save you money on taxes

All right, everyone. We are going to go ahead and get started. So my name is Laurie Delk Radecki, and we do training each week here. And so tonight i’m going to talk about one of the biggest things for having benefits for having an at home based Business is all the things that you can write off, all the things that you can save on your taxes. And so i’m just going to go over a few different points of ideas of what you can write off, what you can keep track of, and the type of money you can save.

So if you don’t have a home based business, you’re missing out on all these tax deductions. So that’s one huge thing. Reason and benefit of why you want to start a any type of home based business.

the first one, of course, is keep track of everything.
For example, if you’re buying paper for your office, save the receipt I use, quicken to keep track of all my transactions, and I can put them in different categories, and I can organize them.

You can put them for, if you drive to the store for your meetings, you want to save those. If you’re buying lunches with your team or having lunches with prospects or hotels, anything that can be used in your business. You can keep track of it. You can use it as a deduction and claim it off your taxes, so you don’t have to pay as much in taxes.

So another thing is to write off your workspace – so like here you can see i’m in my office here, so I have a dedicated workspace, but I don’t have to sit in my office all the time right because I have a laptop. I can sit wherever I want, and a lot of people Don’t have a dedicated workspace, and that’s fine, too. You can still write off a percent of your home, even if it’s not a dedicated workspace.

You just have to figure out what that percentage is compared to your house, and you want to save that. whatever that is, it can be up to 300 square feet, so it can’t be more than that. But and of course always i’m not a tax accountant, so you always check with your tax accountant it for you know the rules for your State or your area, or whatever. But you can also write off that same amount of percentage for utilities & insurance & your mortgage.

All those things you can write off.
You can write off those for utilities and for any other type of deductions and your office space.

The next one is for updating your equipment. So you always want to update your equipment like you could think about a lot of times. People say I don’t want to spend the money on a new laptop or whatever your office furniture, software for your computer anything can be a 100% deduction the year it’s acquired. And so there’s no reason to not update things. You want to get things updated and have them because you can write them off on your business.

another thing you can do to write off on your taxes is to save for retirement, so you can save money towards your retirement. You can write off the contributions to
to your to your retirement. You can write those off also, as you’re saving them and saving for your retirement.

Another thing is talking to clients. So when you’re talking to clients you can write off a percent of your phone. If you talk to clients on it. So i’m on my phone almost all day with clients. And so you can write off a percent of that to your clients as well.

So then also like your Internet, if you use it in your business, you can also write your Internet off. So figure out a percent that your devices that you use for your Internet in your business and think about the cost versus the business and your household versus the business and you can deduct that accordingly. And so you just want to think about like how many devices you have on the Internet. So you know, you might have your like. I have my desk in my office, and then I have my phone, and then I have my laptop. But then we also have the TV. So that’s all personal, You know. My husband has a phone, and my husband has a laptop. So you want to think about all the things, and then you can only do that to percentage portion of that.

Then like lunches and dinners. So if you take a client out to eat, or even if you just pay for yourself. But you’re talking about business. You’re meeting people. So if you go to like networking lunch, you can write that off for business. If you if you meet people for a one on one after the luncheons, to get to know people and talk to them about your business, you could write those off. If you take your team out to dinner, you can write that off.

Then also like business trips. So anywhere you go you could write that off, so a 100% of travel expenses can be wrote off there. Those are deductible, and then about 50% normally on meals. Same thing. I’m not a tax accountant, so you always want to check with your tax professional on that. But you want to keep your receipts. You want to make sure that you’re keeping track of all your expenses and all your receipts and so but anything on travel expenses. So your flight, your mileage on the car, your
your food while you’re eating out on your business trip, so like we have an event in Orlando, Florida next month. I plan to fly down. I’ll be staying in a hotel.
and so we can stay an extra day and go to the beach. Now that part you can’t write off, but you can write off because I flew down there for the event, so I can write that off. I can right off staying in the hotel.

So you want to think of those things. So whenever you have business trips, or even if you want to take a vacation turn it into a business trip, do business while you’re on the trip and, like I tell a lot of times. My team, you know, have an event in your area. Invite 20 people into the room, and i’ll fly out and or drive out and come speak there for you, and I can write that off on business, and we get to take a little mini vacation with it. So it’s a neat way. You can do that. I used to do that with my kids as they were growing up. I would always have them fly with me on my business trips, or we would drive and we would always stay an extra day or 2 to do different things. And but then that was wrote off on business, too.

So and then the last thing is, employ your family so you can deduct their salaries. I used to give my kids things to do. I trained them on doing different things for me, my youngest daughter. I didn’t even start texting until she was 18. She always had my phone, and she would read me what the text would say, and I would answer her. And because the kids, of course, could type way faster than I could.
but employ your family. You can deduct their salaries and the cool thing is, kids under 17. They don’t have. They don’t incur those social security taxes, and yet you can also teach them to save. You can teach them to save money every month, and even before you know they’re of age to go work at a business. You can be employing them and and giving them things to do to help you.

I still have My daughter helps me to to this day going to different events, and she will run the signing table for me, or she will do camera videos for me. I teach her all those different things, and then I can pay her to do those things. That’s a tax. Write off.

So those are a few of the things for ideas on writing stuff off on taxes. I’m. Going to go ahead and stop the recording and open it up for our live Q. A.

Adaptability, Face Your Fears and more

Hello, everyone. My name is Laurie Delk Radecki, and we are going to talk tonight. I started out this training when I was writing my notes to be talking about being adaptable and facing your fears, and then I kinda trailed into some other things, so we’ll see where it leads. But one of the things I wanted to talk about is facing your fears like I remember. you know, as as I was raising my 4 children. I never left them alone. I/we rarely, almost never even went on a date without the kids. We we always kept the kids with us. I never traveled without the kids. We would always do family vacations. I took them with me everywhere. When I started speaking engagements and speaking on stages around the world, I took my children with me. That was my plan. That was how I how I raised them. That was how I chose to do things.

I remember back in 2,013, I was asked to speak on stage, at an event that was on a cruise, and it was right after my kids dad had passed away. I had never been on a cruise before, and i’d always wanted to go on one, but I was always too chicken, and I had actually even won one in a company several years before that, and I gave it away because it was too chicken, because, like hello, the Titanic, I saw it right! But anyway, so this event I was asked to speak at on stage, but it was on a cruise, and I really wanted to go, and I was freaking out, though, and so I asked my youngest son, who was 12 at the time, If he wanted to go on the cruise with mommy, and obviously I knew he couldn’t save me,

But I joked with him, and I said, you know, if it sinks, you know you’ll save me right? You’ll I’ll get me to shore. And But I remember I talked to my travel agent, I talked to the people, other people that were going on the cruise, the leaders of the event that asked me to speak there and drilled everybody about it. They were all like. Oh, it only goes out about 5 miles from shore, and you know it’s a a short cruise, so it’s really stay stays close to land, and I was still paranoid….. but I went, and then I loved it. And then I went on like 3 cruises a year every year after that!It was one thing that, you know one thing, going to events. If you can ever get to an event for a company event, go – because you always grow at them, and you learn other things.

And a lot of times. Events are online and things…. But you’ll still learn more things as you go to events, and as you get around other people that are leaders in the company and things, you’re always going to grow, and especially if it’s something that where you have to face your fears, you’re going to grow at that event or that situation.

I remember, even though I was one of the speakers, At this event I grew so much just from pushing myself through, facing those fears, to get on the cruise and go to this event, and one thing that you know that I told myself in my head like, rather than thinking in my head – what could happen Bad? like what could happen like if we hit an iceberg. I know we weren’t gonna do that because it was like California to Mexico.

But you know thinking about it, you know what if a hole gets in it. What if you know a shark gets you or it sinks, or whatever you get eaten by sharks right? But what GOOD could happen? So whenever I thought those negative thoughts. I decided to replace them with positive thoughts – It Doesn’t work If you just say i’m not going to think about that,….

because your mind’s already going….. So make your mind replace that with something good. So what GOOD could happen? Good out of the situation?

I got to know a lot more leaders in the company. I got trained by the other leaders and the other speakers in the company. I met tons of new people there. I faced my fears of going on the cruise. I found out that I really loved it, and I’ve been on like 20 cruises since then.

So just whenever you think of something negative, just reframe it into something positive and on purpose – What could happen? Good instead of thinking what could happen bad.

Then also use that in your team in your building….What if I could help a 100 people in this company. Right? What if I could help 10 people in this company?
What if I could help a 1,000 people in this company? What if I could help 10,000 people in this company.

You know another event that I spoke at the biggest event that I’ve ever spoke at. It was over 10,000 people in the crowd, and you know, and I had gotten to where I had been on stage
thousands of times at different events. And so I got very comfortable speaking at different events, but this was the biggest one it went from like 5,000 at the one of my other biggest events to over 10,000, and you know I got nervous, but that’s it like. What if I could? What if I could help influence 10,000 people?

So whatever you really want just like, Take the chance because it what could happen? Right? I mean nothing, Probably negative is going to happen. Many things probably positive are going to happen.

If you are thinking that there is a chance also to make like a full time income in this company…. so like I remember when I first started out, and in network marketing, and technically it was where it was doing my doing the own. My own direct sales type business at home my first company with tupperware. I wanted to make an extra 50 to a $100 a month.

I didn’t have to buy my husband, his birthday gift with his own money, right?
so that was my goal. That was my plan, and quickly I ended up getting the van, and long story short……Now, several several years later, here we are.

What if I could make an extra 50 to a $100 a month? Now I’ve made thousands and thousands of dollars a month, and millions in years, and so you never know where it’s going to lead, and especially if you keep reading, If you keep doing trainings, if you keep growing, If if you keep learning.

you’re gonna get better all the time, and that’s gonna lead you to different and more and better opportunities, whether it’s with the same company, or a different company, or whatever. But you’re always going to grow so that’s one thing that you want to do. You want to constantly keep growing.

like with me. One thing that I try to do is I try to help people make better incomes, but also help families, help relationships, help marriages.
help people with their self development, help people with their mindset. When you get all those things, and you work on all those things. Then everything in every area helps to get better as well.

The more you are on like trainings like this, the more you go to other company trainings. The more you learn, the more you will grow, and the more better your life will be, and every single aspect of your life.

One huge thing is communication and respect. That’s with everyone in your life. It’s with your family. It’s with your team.

It’s huge, no matter where, at in any aspect of your life or your business

Drama can and will happen, no matter how much you try to avoid it.
But when it happens, don’t fall, prey to it.
Don’t air your dirty laundry, whether it’s personal or professional. Don’t air it on Facebook, don’t air it in texting to other people. Don’t message it to other people.

It makes a difference how you about it. If you do that, keep it to yourself. Learn and grow through it.

I offer my cell phone to everyone on my team like not just my personal people, but everyone on my team.
I tell people, and I train people, and I ask my leaders to train their people
to go to our team group. Do a search in that group for whatever you’re looking for, because most of the time your answers in the group already.
People, when they join new there’s thousands of posts in there already.
I also tell people go through all the posts. When you have time.
take 30 min, and just go through different posts, like or love it, and that’s that way. You can keep track of what you’ve read already, or what you’ve watched. If it’s a video or checked out, you’ve looked at.

If you Don’t. Find your answer, then post in the group and ask a question.
We have lots of other leaders that we are developing on our team, and they will answer. If I don’t answer it right away, they will hop in there, and they will answer it also.

And then, third, always text your question to whoever your personal sponsor is, if you hadn’t found it in one of those other first 2 ways.

and then, of course the next. If you still don’t get your answer, or don’t get your answer in a timely manner, especially if it’s something important, you know, because sometimes those things happen, then text me your question, and I usually answer in the same thing. I have a life, too, so sometimes I might be tied up with something.
but I do try to answer as quickly as I possibly can.

The only way you lose in the company is, if you quit. So Some people I know like this month, and last month we had lots of promotions on our team, and i’m so happy, so excited for everybody that is promoted on our team.

But you know you can go fast, or you can go slow like I had somebody that was upset that they didn’t get promoted right. Had several people, and had talked to me about that. And the thing is, you know it doesn’t matter how fast you go doesn’t matter how slow you go.

The thing is that you keep moving forward.

You get better personally as well as you grow personally and professionally and financially.
and as long as you keep moving forward and don’t quit.
then you’re going to get better every day, right? So just like the story of the rabbit and the turtle right the turtle still one. It just took him longer to get there.

but the rabbit kind of screwed off and went sideways and different ways and all that stuff. If you keep going forward in that straight line you’re going to get better, and your 5 to 10 year down the road Self is going to thank you today for keeping on moving forward. And it doesn’t matter like I said, how slow, how fast you know.

If you can go faster, of course, always go faster, but lots of people have a lot of stuff going on – just like with me, You know we are in the middle of building another house. We’re in the middle of packing this house, and I watch my grand baby a couple of days a week now, and
so, and i’m remarried now. And so it’s like – I have a life just like a lot of people, right? And so

it depends on how quick or how slow you can go, or how much time you can devote to your company, and different people have different areas. But the thing is as long as you keep moving forward as long as like in our company. You keep doing the balance test. You keep sharing it and keep showing it to people you keep sharing the testimonials.

The easy way is sharing your testimonial, the testimonials on your social media or otherwise into people’s inboxes, or invite them to our testimonial group.

and though these patches sell their self anyway, and then people just ask you about it, and they end up signing up.

Coaching & Training: Recruiting

Hello, everyone. So tonight I am going to train on recruiting. So a lot of times people say, I just want to join to get the discount, and that that’s great. I mean you can do that. You can also. Some people say that they want to go fast and furious, and rec recruit a bunch of people, and that’s fine. You can do that. Some people say that they just, you know they’ll share it here and there, and you know, if people sign up that’s fine. If people don’t. That’s fine, too.

You can do that. So that’s the cool thing is you can do whatever you want in this business, you can go as fast or as slow, or whatever you want is totally up to you.

But thing is recruiting is really important, like one of the things I want to remind you of is just dream a little bigger than what you have been right, because
a lot of people also don’t realize, like exactly what all they could get like.

Some people are like, you know. Oh, I just want to make $50 a month, and that’s totally okay. You can do that. But some people, you know, even those same people. If they had the opportunity to make 5,000 a month they probably wouldn’t turn it away right. So just like, think about that. Just think about like the difference of what could be right. So you know it’s always good to dream. It’s always good to, you know, attract a bigger abundance in your life, and that could be. It doesn’t have to be money. It could be financial. It could be freedom like time. Freedom like you have more time to do other things because you have the money to pay for a made. You have the money to pay for a cook. You have the money to put your kids in private schools, so you don’t have to take them to and from the farther school every day, or worry about them on the bus. Right? So there’s all different things that could be your dream of what you want to get to. So just think and dream a little bigger and a little differently on maybe, what you’ve already thought of.

i’ll tell you a little story a little background. So I started in direct sales when I was 22. So that is over 30 years ago, almost 35 years and so back then. That was it. I wanted to make an extra $100 a month.

We were doing okay. I had my web n graphics and branding n marketing company and plus, I ran a daycare in my home. I cut my own kids, and you know my husband had a good job and good money, and so I just wanted to make an extra $100 a month. So that way, like if I bought his Christmas present or birthday present. I didn’t have to buy it with his money right? So that’s how I started out, and the same thing I didn’t have all the dreams that I do now, because I didn’t have it in me. I didn’t know what was possible right?

And so I started out in tupperware at 22, and had my whole kitchen was temporized and got the van, and you know, so I was able to accomplish some different things, and but I also thought I didn’t have time to add anything into my life like I didn’t have time to manage a team. I didn’t have time to talk to other people, and you know I was already running my day care, and my children and my husband in my household. I didn’t have time to run something else.

But I just recruited different people here and there, just a little bit here and there, and that added up and fast forward. I’ve been in a few different companies now i’ve personally recruited in all my companies. Over 5,000 reps into the different companies.

2 companies ago was the first company that I was in, that I hit 5 figures a month, and I made it to like middle to high 5 figures a month. And then in my last company, I was also at that 5 figures a month. And now in this company I’m Close to the 5 figures a month, and have recruited over 50 in my team Personally, so far, so and I just started 7 months ago. So you know. if you keep on, the thing is, if you keep being consistent about it. the same thing, whether you go fast or whether you go slow right. The turtle still won the race, even though he went slow, right. But he was consistently walking where the rabbit like he sped up, and then he stopped, and then he stopped.

and then he sped up, and then he stopped. And just think about that! Think about like with a train right? A train goes fast, fast, fast, fast. and then once it stops it takes a while to get that momentum back going right. So you have to think about that.
If you get that that momentum up you want to keep going. You want to keep going. You want to be consistent about it. And the biggest thing, too, is one thing that I always say is fit into your life right like you don’t have to find other things to do to where, if you’re already busy to fit it in like

I, You know I used to do a bunch of networking meetings. Now I watch a grand baby 4 days a week. But guess what I message people. I talk to people. and I even meet people in person. I have them come to close to me, where I watch my grand baby, and we go to a little first watch that’s close down the road, and I just tell them as long as you don’t mind a little. 17 month old handsome date with us. We can have lunch together or brunch.
and so you can still fit it in. However, you want to fit it in.
but, like our group, you know, has only been in the company not even a year yet, and yet we are one of the top teams in the company. We have some of the fastest promotions on our team. Some of the people on our team are fact, are promoting faster than anybody else in the company, so that it’s just been great.

So write down, like all the things that you want to do. and then also keep track of. like what the things that the company has done for you.

Like everything, keep track, write it down like even things that are monetary like. Did you join the company? And did you meet a new friend?

Write that down right? Because that’s huge. I’ve got friends from all the different companies that I’ve been in, and have become some of my really good friends.

Have you? Have you gotten more confident in the company because the more people you talk to, the more confident you’re going to get.
Have you found a product that changed your life?
If if it’s changed your life. If it’s helped you, you know. Then then that’s one thing that is great. Write that down.

Have you gotten some commissions and paid off some debt, or bought some things that you couldn’t have bought before, because you got the money from the company right right that down. because the company ever sent you a card for getting recognized. Write that down.

So I love getting cards, and you know, and the company has sent me a card each time I got promoted. Even got brownies the last time I got promoted. So you know, even though I didn’t get to see them, because my husband ate them. He gave me the card, but he he left me the packaging so I could look at it.
But you know, write down the things that the company has done for you. Did you know, Did that card or that award make you feel good? Did it make you feel recognized?

Have you gone to any events, or gone to any of the trainings in your company, where you learned things, and it made you more knowledgeable. It made you better in your business, and also even in your personal life, like a lot of a lot of the trainings that I do. I try to do a mixture of trainings for our company training for our team, but also trainings, for in our personal life, because I believe the better you get in your personal life the better you will be in your business life.

So start making a list of all the things that you can be grateful and thankful for from this company. because when the hard times come and they will, no matter what they will be sure of it. So when they come you can remember your why that you started.

You can be strong, and your foundation those grateful and thankful things that you write down of even the littlest things is gonna help you build your foundation. So you are strong and stable when something does go wrong, whether it’s in the company and your team, whatever.
and you’re going to be able to keep working, and you’re going to be able to not get distracted.
and you will forget if you don’t write it down. I promise you will forget, no matter what, if you don’t write it down. That is one thing like in our company. You know we have so many people that
that get pain fixed right, and they don’t write it down.

and they forget. And then they quit buying their patches because
they don’t have pain anymore which that’s good, that’s great.
But then sometimes they run out. I hear this all the time they run out.
and then their pain, or whatever symptoms come back because they ran out because they were thinking that they didn’t have it anymore, or that they didn’t need it anymore, or
or even that it wasn’t working anymore right? And so
stay on them, of course, because it does help but write the things down. So you remember
sometimes. Also, you know, another thing to record recruit people and have a team and build a business is
sometimes. You just want something just for you.
right? So I know, like busy mom, a busy wife, you know. Sometimes you want something just for you, like. I remember.
you know, when my kids dad passed away in 2,013, and I remember thinking

I’ve always been. you know Brian’s wife. Laurel’s Mom Maclean’s mom friends, mom, Mason’s mom. like I started thinking like.
Who am I like really like? And I had a very large thriving business. I was busy all the time I was traveling and speaking at different events 4 or 5 times a month every single month.
but I still started wondering. Who am I right? And so maybe you just want something that’s like just for you.

And then also like, do you like nicer things like I mean you don’t have to have nice things right. I mean you can have decent things and be happy with it, and i’m not saying that you shouldn’t be.

but like sometimes you might want something nicer. Wouldn’t it be nice if your business just paid for it.
or you know, do you want to personally develop like
the same thing. These, you know, recruiting other people as well as you know these trainings. They will help you personally, develop in your personal life as well as your business life.
And then do you want to leave a legacy when you’re gone like once you’re gone, and you know what are people going to say about you? Are people going to remember you? Do you have children that you want to leave?
You know your financial legacy to, or even

just like I do these trainings. And you know, my, I put them in different places. They’re recorded online my kids, My grand maybe, will grow up and he could watch it one day if he wanted to right.

So I think those are some neat things, but like, think of different things, of what you want to leave for one day when you’re gone. and then also, do you want to make a di
And do you want to make a difference in other People’s lives like that’s huge like, even even if you’re not worried about making a difference in your life like, could you make a difference in other people’s lives. How cool would that be if you have someone in your life that you can really help them, and really make a difference in their life

whether it’s feeling better or whether it’s financial. You know there’s so many different aspects.

And then the last thing really quickly is
when you are recruiting. Ask people questions like, ask people. What can I answer for you? Right. We have lots and lots of benefits and things for that. You could tell people about our company. But the thing is, you need to find out what they want
right? So they usually have research something before they ask you a question, anyway.
so ask them what questions can I answer for you.

and then answer their questions? Because that’s what’s important to them. So if you answer them.
you know you should tell them your story right? Your story is important, and, like they say fact, tell story, cell right? So don’t give them lots of endless facts that they didn’t ask for
right. Tell them your story, and then answer them what

What is important to them? Because different people want different things. Some people are going to ask you a 1 million things about count plan. So send them the call plan
But most people aren’t that detailed
so Don’t send them that right. We have the little compensation plan at a glance. Send them that because that’s simple, and that’s easy. They don’t need all the other details unless they want them. If they want them to show them where to find it.
but find out like, match their personality, like, figure out their personality and ask them what they want. Kind of like. Think about that love people in their language. Right? So the the 5 love languages, or whatever
you know, you have that test. You should have your spouse. Take the test. You should take the test. If you never have, you should have your kids take the test.
but
talk to people in their language like, figure out. Ask them questions so that way you can figure out what they want, what’s important to them, and then talk to them in their language.

And then just one more thing. The last thing is just, and you never know who you’re talking to. So don’t pre-judge right? So someone might have lots of money.

and you might think oh, i’m not going to talk to them. Well, they’re a successful doctor. I’m not going to talk to them.
A successful doctor might be looking for a way to not have to work 5 6 7 days a week at his doctor. Business right? One might want to step back a little bit, but still live in his lifestyle.
you know, so never prejudge somebody or somebody doesn’t have enough money.
you never know. They might, By the way, right, people always find a way to buy what they want to buy. So always.

you know. Don’t prejudge, talk to everybody. Let them decide. So that’s all for our training tonight. So i’m going to stop the recording and then open it up for our live Q. And a.

Mindset, Vision, Motivation, Goals, Gratitude

Coaching & Training: Mindset, Vision, Motivation, Goals, Gratitude 4-17-23

I am going to be training on mindset as well as some just a few different generic type tips.

So one thing huge is to remember when you join the team you might see everything that I do. You might see what I post in the group of what all i’m doing, or you might follow me on social media and see what i’m doing. And and you might be . you know I can’t do all those things, or or you know whatever. No, you don’t have to worry about doing everything that I do, and especially If something is working for you.

Then keep doing whatever is working for you. Right? So there’s some people that are great on social media. There are some people that are great in person.
There’s some people that are great you know, going to networking events. There’s some people that are great at doing actual Booth type events. So whatever works for you, if it’s working for you, keep doing that.

And of course, if it’s not working for you, whatever you’re doing. Then, obviously, you know, adjust some things, maybe try something different. Maybe try to get a little bit out of your comfort zone to do something different.

But just remember, you don’t have to do everything that somebody that you look up to, or that somebody that’s more successful than you is doing. But just remember I, you know the only reason I have more sign up is because I’ve talked to more people

i’ve, you know, done the balance test on more people. I’ve shown it to more people. That’s it. So there’s no reason that anybody can’t even join and surpass me. because if you work harder than me if you you know, show it to more people, whether it’s on social media, or whether it’s in person. However, you want to do it the same thing. It’s just showing it to more people.

Then but don’t forget to always try different things even if whatever’s working for you is working for you. Maybe you can add something else into it, too, so you know, Always be open to that. But Don’t totally change what you’re doing. If something’s working for you. But if it’s not working for you, then look at some other things, and maybe you don’t get out of your comfort zone a little bit.

Remember that mindset is the biggest thing, if you take notes on anything I ever say, Mindset is the biggest thing. It is so huge, I promise you.

So another one of the big things is Define what your limiting beliefs are . For most people it’s it’s recruiting I I can’t recruit. I don’t know how to recruit. I talk to people, and they don’t ever want to sign up with me whatever right. So think about what you know, what you struggle with, and what somebody what other people maybe tell you

If you talk to yourself ? Or what do I have an issue with? Why, why do I think people don’t sign up with me.
Then think about that, and whatever that is that just start working on changing it.

So one huge thing that I believe in is affirmations I used to when people used to tell me about them 25 plus years ago, I was kinda , Hmm. I don’t know. because I kind of feel you know. An affirmation is if you’re not there, An affirmation is a lie, and you know it is a lie, right, and none of us are perfect, of course. But I just used to have a problem with that.

so I don’t know if anybody needs to hear this or not. But That’s how I was, you know, many years ago… And I was actually talking to a pastor friend one day, and he said. You know the Bible says, Believe as if you have received right. So you’re supposed to say it and believe it as if you’ve already received it, and so that just was a total game changer for me in my head, because that’s it, because most of all of our issues and pretty much anything in our life is right between these 2 spots, right?

once I started believing that then I could tell myself, you know that. Yes, I am achieving different things. So . If you believe that recruiting is one of your issues, say I am a great recruiter say it to yourself, say it in the mirror in the bathroom right? Because a lot of times. Then then a lot of times when that’s , you know, I love you right. You say that to yourself in the bathroom, and some some people have an issue with that. Some people can do it great.

but some people have an issue with it, and so just talk to yourself. One of my most favorite top mentors in the world was Zig Ziglar. I have every single one of his books. I took tons of his trainings. I saw him speak in person at least 100 times at different events so and he was huge on saying all these different things to yourself in the mirror every day and i’ll have to find that list and post it sometime, but it’s really huge. But you could just start out with a few things so every day.
I am a great recruiter.
I am attracting the right customers and distributors into my life. I am signing up a new customer and distributor every single week.

Right? So think of some things that you want. and that you want to be better at. And then just write them down in the positive connotone.
Write them on an index, card or whatever, and then say them to yourself, every day, a couple of times a day. and Don’t say the negative part of those things anymore.

Once you realize what that little negative connotone thing is that you have or issue.
Then then have it that one time, and then write the opposite, the positive side of that.
also say, You know I am learning more and more every day, and becoming a better and better leader every single day. So those are some of the things that I say still to this day, and but you know, because the same thing, none of us have ever arrived right doesn’t matter how much money you make or so what rank you get, You still want to get better, right. You should always be wanting to improve yourself. And so the more that you read, the more that you train your brain the longer your brain is gonna work for you, anyway, right? And of course, if you were your our flow patch.

Train your brain all the time to do better, and remember more, and become better every day.
if you train your mind. I promise you, promise you, promise you it will change your life
, I said. The biggest thing I could tell you is with all the stuff…Train your mind, and it will change your life.

And then one huge theme, too, is. realize that before you can influence others have to be able to influence yourself so you can’t lead others. If you can’t lead yourself right. So if you, if you want your team to buy product then make sure you’re buying the product right?

if you want your team to use the product make sure you’re using the product right? So you know, if somebody asks you, hey? Did you try da da dah, dah, dah, dah? That’s right. You want to be able to say yes, right? I had somebody ask me today if I tried our new joy patch yet, and I had to say no, but it’s just because I don’t have it yet. I it has been ordered. But try our products also. every single one that comes out, you should always be trying.

even if you don’t think that you need it . I kind of thought. Well, I don’t. I don’t really. I don’t feel , I have any bad habits to kick. But
I told my husband I want us to both wear the kick it patch for 30 days straight. just to see what we feel if we notice anything right. because if you’re selling it, you should be able to answer people of it what it’s done for you. And even if it didn’t do anything for you, you know, and listen to that stories for of other people. But you should still at least try it

Are you telling your team to post on their social media to get them to join them? But are you doing it? Do do what you tell other people to do If I post in the group, or if I tell you on these calls, do this, do this. I guarantee you i’m doing it

If you tell people that you want them to. Do so many balance tests, so I’m in a special accountability group with Steve, and we have to do minimum of 3 balance tests a week, right? Of course most people do a lot more, but even me i’m with my grandbaby full time 4 days a week and then I drive an hour each way to my son’s house to go watch him every day those 4 days. So there’s a lot of times that i’m not i’m not out networking as I used to all the time.
but I still get my balance test done.

I flew to Canada this weekend for my gratitude girls, Partner’s birthday, and I’ve balance tested 15 people while I was up in Canada this weekend. fit it in in your life wherever you are. We stopped at someone’s house last night, same thing. Just the conversation was going, and they asked me what I did in Canada this weekend, and so I kind of went through a couple of the things I did. And she said I’ve heard about those patches Can pregnant people wear them/
Yes, actually the guy that got me in it. His daughter just delivered a baby, and she was wearing them during her pregnancy. She were them during the labor and delivery, and she felt it helped her a ton. It’s oh, can I try that? So did a balance test on her.

She saw the results instantly and so then she was her husband came in, and she was You got to have Laurie do this on you. You’ve got to try it, so find you don’t have to be on selling it being that that person that you know nobody really cares about, because they’re constantly trying to sell you something but talk to people and literally get them to tell you things that where it’s gonna fit, where you can make our product or service, or whatever fit for them to help them.

And then, when you’re writing down your goals, so I totally believe in vision boards. I believe in having pictures and things and thinking about what you want to get. So write down your goals, you know, and visualize your goals, and so think about What are you gonna do when you get the rank bonus of team leader? So this $500 extra cash, right? What are you gonna do with that ? Are you gonna put it back in the business? Are you gonna buy yourself a new outfit? Are you gonna make a car payment , what are you gonna do with that

Write it down. Be specific and in detail what you plan to do with it. and for each bonus. Break down how you’re gonna spend it Because if you make and visualize that goal, then more than likely you’re gonna get you’re gonna attract it, and you’re going to achieve it. You’re gonna hit that goal
If you just write down goals that are in the future, then they’re always going to be in the future right?

So you write down goals as the same thing what I said before, as if you’ve already received them

I am a team leader in the Super Patch Company. I am a director in the Super Patch Company. I am so excited that I’ve won the $500 team leader award, because now I get to buy da da da da da and write that out specific and in detail, what you’re gonna buy with that money when you get it.

write down what you’re gonna do with your life as you get more people on your team as you get more income as you get to help more people write all that out specific and in detail. The more specific, the more detailed you can get about it the better it’s gonna come to life, and the faster it’s gonna come for you. And remember that, too, when you, when you write down your gratitude, too. So of course, most of you guys know that I have a nonprofit called the Gratitude Girls with my partner, Kathryn, who I went to see for her birthday in Canada this weekend.

we have the Gratitude Journal, and it’s on Amazon. If if you haven’t gotten it, and you want to get it. But what we teach in that it’s just so simple you could do it with a dime store Notebook journal is 5 things specific in detail every night before you go to bed
that way. It’s the last thing on your head. Don’t touch your phone after that process.
Do not touch the news, especially after that process. Nothing. Write down last thing before bed, right down 5 things. You’re specific in a detail that you’re grateful for. That happened that day that day not all, all, all time, or in your life, or whatever that day.
because, as you do that, then more things are going to come to that. You will have to be specific and in detail grateful for.
