Laurie’s Lessons – How do you show up?

Laurie’s Lessons How do you show up? Laurie conducted a training session on posture and self-presentation, emphasizing the importance of acting genuinely rather than “faking” confidence. She also stressed the significance of sharing one’s product or service and personal experiences, encouraging confidence in doing so. Additionally, Laurie shared her personal journey of overcoming shyness and lack of confidence, and emphasized the importance of authenticity in social media and in life. She encouraged individuals to share imperfect moments and to strive for genuine connections with others.

Posture Training: Confidence, Ego, and Perception Laurie led a training session on posture, focusing on how individuals present themselves and are perceived.

She discouraged the use of the phrase “fake it till you make it” and instead encouraged people to act in a way that aligns with how they want to be perceived. Laurie highlighted the difference between confidence and ego, and stressed that confidence comes from genuine communication and interactions with others. She ended the session with an emphasis on the importance of speaking to more people to gain more experience and knowledge. Believing in and Sharing Your Product

Laurie emphasized the importance of believing in and sharing one’s product or service, even if it’s not universally accepted or approved. She shared her personal experience of overcoming major sciatic pain through the help of a patch, which she believes she would not have known about if someone did not share it with her. Laurie advised that one’s job is to share the information with others, and it’s up to them to decide whether they want to use or buy it. She encouraged confidence in sharing one’s own experiences and warned against spending time worrying about whether one is sharing enough or being confident enough.

Overcoming Shyness and Confidence in Company Laurie shared her personal journey of overcoming initial shyness and lack of confidence when she first joined the company. She encouraged others to share their own stories and not be discouraged if they don’t want to share on social media, emphasizing the importance of pushing oneself outside of comfort zones. Laurie also highlighted that the goal is not to convince others about the company or products, but to share one’s own experience and let others make their own decisions.

Emphasizing Authenticity in Social Media Laurie emphasized the importance of authenticity in social media and in life. She encouraged not to be afraid of sharing imperfect moments, as they can be just as valuable and relatable to others. She shared her own experiences of appearing raw and real, including having her grandson or pets appear in her videos, and noted that this approach attracted more people to her. Laurie also suggested that for major events like book launches, it’s acceptable to put in extra effort for a polished look, but it’s the raw and real that people should strive for in their everyday content.

Laurie’s Lesons – Rise Above – Be an unstoppable champion

Forget about people-pleasing. Become a champion for yourself and your dreams. Be kind, but prioritize the decisions that empower you, your family, and your business. Embrace the challenge.

True champions know that growth requires effort. Every worthwhile pursuit will push you beyond your comfort zone. Remember, the rewards are often far greater than the initial difficulty.

Leave self-pity in the dust. It’s a dead end. Learn from your past, but don’t dwell on it. Move forward, embrace failure as a stepping stone, and fail forward with valuable lessons learned. Stop dwelling on the past.

Take ownership of your choices and shape your own future. Let go of victim mentality and become the author of your story.

Gossip is a small game. Exceptional minds engage in inspiring ideas, average minds discuss events, but true champions elevate the conversation by focusing on people’s potential and positive contributions. Focus on your sphere of influence.

Don’t waste energy on things you can’t control. If an obstacle arises, don’t get stuck – proactively seek solutions.

Be the problem-solver, not the problem-bringer. Balance your vision with present action. Learn from the past, but live fully in the present while actively planning for a bright future. Set ambitious goals, maintain a clear vision, and take consistent action towards your dreams.

Never give up. Remember, most success stories take time. Be prepared to invest effort and time, just like countless successful businesses that didn’t see profits for years. In network marketing, consistent action and exploring untapped connections can lead to remarkable income streams.

Remember, your potential is limitless. Challenge yourself to step outside your comfort zone and tap into the depths of your potential. There are always more people to connect with, more possibilities to explore, and more reasons to keep growing. Become an unstoppable champion. Start now.

Ways to build your business, NOT on social media

  1. Laurie’s Lessons — Coaching & Training – ways to build your business, NOT on social media
  2. Network like crazy: Attend industry events, conferences, and local meetups. Get involved in relevant communities and associations. Build genuine connections with potential customers, collaborators, and mentors. Remember, your network is your net worth!
  3. Become a content powerhouse: Create valuable, informative content that caters to your target audience’s needs and interests. Write blog posts, guest articles, ebooks, white papers, or even start a podcast. Establish yourself as a thought leader in your field.
  4. Prioritize exceptional customer service: Go the extra mile for your customers. Respond promptly to inquiries, address concerns proactively, and personalize your interactions. Word-of-mouth referrals are gold in the offline world.
  5. Forge strategic partnerships: Collaborate with complementary businesses to reach new audiences and cross-promote each other’s offerings. Look for win-win partnerships that add value to both sides.
  6. Master the art of referrals and testimonials: Encourage satisfied customers to refer you to their network. Showcase positive testimonials and case studies on your website and marketing materials. Build trust and credibility through social proof.
  7. Invest in targeted advertising: Explore traditional advertising channels like print, radio, or local television, depending on your target audience and budget. Consider targeted online advertising options beyond social media platforms.
  8. Offer exceptional customer experiences: Create memorable interactions with your customers, both online and offline. Host workshops, events, or product demos. Focus on building relationships and exceeding expectations.
  9. Optimize your website for lead generation: Ensure your website is user-friendly and optimized for search engines. Capture leads through strategic calls to action, email opt-ins, and contact forms. Convert website visitors into loyal customers.
  10. Embrace email marketing: Build an email list and nurture relationships with your audience through regular email newsletters. Offer valuable content, exclusive deals, and promotions. Keep your customers engaged and informed.
  11. Track and analyze your results: Measure the effectiveness of your offline marketing efforts. Use data and analytics to understand what’s working and what’s not. Continuously refine your strategies and optimize your approach for maximum impact.

Remember, building a successful business takes time, effort, and dedication. While social media can be a powerful tool, focusing on these offline strategies can also pave the way for sustainable growth and long-term success.
