Love to sit outside to work in this beautiful weather

Early morning reading, and preparation for the day, it’s SO pretty outside!!! Loving sitting outside to work in this beautiful weather!

Today is one of my favorite #CalvinKlein dresses, of course cuz it has lots of purple and pink! Also have my purplish pink #velvet #stilettos by #JessicaSimpson my #sunnies are also Jessica’s 😁

Many have asked me about my favorite Laptop briefcase, it is also a purplish pink and by #RadioRoad I love it because it has wheels, several pockets and divisions to organize rather than just cram all in there.

And of course my pink #MichaelKors purse I love cuz it has LOTS of pockets and dividers and places to organize 🙂

#HappyFriday 😁

Word of mouth advertising, most powerful, and free!

Word of mouth advertising is the most powerful of advertising, and it’s FREE! And quite simply, the only way to earn word of mouth advertising is by making your clients/customers feel like a VIP.

I know you’re probably thinking, in order to make your customers feel like a VIP you have to spend;

a lot of money

a lot of time

But that is just not the case!

Steve Jadczak owns Light Up My Holiday. He’s been in the business of decorating homes for the holidays for 20yrs.

Steve says, “treating all my clients as VIP’s has grown my business with not only repeat customers but customers who recommend me to their friends.”

Steve’s secret weapon…creating a habit of showing kindness. This makes his customers/clients feel like VIPs. Turning business to business into friend to friend.

His secret weapon (which you will learn in the short video below) has generated more referral and word of mouth business than he has ever imagined possible.

This unique way of building relationships is Relationship Marketing at its very best. Clients actually turn into friends who actually care about you, and refer you business as you become closer to them on a personal level.

Be prepared to find blessings coming to you from situations and circumstances which may at first appear to be the opposite. Learn to look for the blessing

“Be prepared to find blessings coming to you from situations and circumstances which may at first appear to be the opposite.

Learn to look for the blessing.”

I have been coaching, training, and speaking at events all over the world the last 15 years. Much moreso the last 6 years. It is amazing the many tragic events that have come thru my life, where I have thought, for a moment, “Why God, Why Me? Why not _____? You picked the wrong person, I am not this strong”…..

And through that, staying close to God, praying and questioning Him *many* times (I promise! I ask, fight, argue, cry, whine! lol All the above!)

Then He will bring something in front of me, someone who needs something, a speaking engagement not for money (sometimes yes, sometimes not), but for spiritual, where I *get the opportunity to* help and be of service to others……

But it is in those moments, not that it makes it all better….

It never does……but He shows me, how, *simply me* can help someone else, and make a difference for good in *their* life. People come to me after, they text me, they private message me, they call me, they hug me, they cry with me, they tell me how they got saved, or grew closer to God……And I realize……*My Why* and why He allowed it.

It don’t take the hurt and pain away, don’t make it perfect…..but it DOES make me feel better, makes me *see* the difference I am being able to make in my *dash* while I am here on this earth.

Do you treat your business, as a business or as a hobby?

This came up again recently in talking w a few people….so I thought I would *talk* about it here –

When I hear people say ‘treat it as a business not a hobby, if you treated it as a business you’d find time’

(granted I agree, to a point) — for me, I was not treating my business as a hobby, I have always treated my *business as a business*, I am very professional, honest, ethical, etc in my business….. and have always worked it consistently for almost 25 years being self employed (25 web & graphic design, branding & marketing, 15 years speaking, coaching and training, 15 years in my Networking Luncheons business, 15 years in my greeting cards and gifting business, etc), BUT I have had a job at times as well, also own a few non-profits, had a husband for a long time and homeschooled my kids, and I was not going to neglect my family *in order to build a business*…..I designed and started my businesses to ENHANCE my family.

Others have said even build it so you can spend more time w your family later, which makes sense “to a point” ….but also I’ve seen many “lose” their marriage and/or kids during that process (and I did make that mistake some when I was younger, and sometimes still do, I have always been a *work-a-holic* but I also absolutely LOVE what I do, so it is not like work), and as I have experienced a few years ago, what if your spouse or child is not *here* one day? so….. then what was it worth????? Make SURE you don’t *neglect* them to build now totally, and plan for later, cuz you might not have a later with them….

My number one focus is FAMILY
but still being consistent in business at the same time…..

You have to learn to schedule…..too much of anything, good or bad, can become a bad thing….so you need to schedule your job, your spiritual time, your personal time, your business time, your spouse time, your kids time, etc, if it is not scheduled, you probably won’t make time for it, and you must be flexible of course as well – and to a point you can work your business around your personal life too….

CONSISTENCY is the KEY, a little bit or a lot a bit, every day, every week, every year, with out giving up…..remember your WHY you started it in the first place, WHY you are doing it and what you want out of it or from it……that is one of the things that has helped me
