The Psychology of Selling n Influence Techniques

Focus on Needs, Not Features: People buy to solve problems and achieve desires. You want to  understand your  customer’s psychology. Learn to ask insightful questions to uncover their specific needs and challenges. Then, position your product or service as the solution, not just a list of features.

Become a Master Listener: Selling is a conversation, not a monologue. Train yourself to truly listen and understand what your prospect is saying (and not saying). Pay attention to verbal and nonverbal cues. Effective listening builds rapport and allows you to tailor your approach to their specific situation.

Embrace the Power of Storytelling: Stories are memorable and impactful. Learn to craft compelling narratives that showcase the benefits of your product or service. Stories can illustrate how your offering has helped others and how it can solve the prospect’s problems.

Practice Ethical Influence Techniques: Influence is a powerful tool, but it should be used ethically. Learn about persuasion techniques like reciprocity, social proof, and framing, but emphasize using them to build trust and demonstrate value, not manipulate.

Role-Playing and Active Learning: Sales is a skill that improves with practice. Incorporate role-playing exercises into your training program. This allows you to practice your communication skills, handle objections, and refine your influencing techniques in a safe environment.

Power Of Positive Attitude And Self Motivation

The Power of Positive Attitude & Self-Motivation

  1. Challenge negativity: Catch yourself when you fall into negative self-talk. Instead of dwelling on what could go wrong, reframe the situation to a more positive outlook.
  2. Gratitude practice: Keep a gratitude journal and write down a few things you’re thankful for each day. This could be anything from big achievements to a nice cup of coffee. Focusing on the good things trains your brain to seek out the positive.
  3. Positive affirmations: Repeating positive affirmations can be a powerful tool. Choose statements that resonate with you, like “I am capable” or “I will achieve my goals.” Say them with conviction to boost your self-belief.
  4. Focus on progress, not perfection: Don’t get discouraged by setbacks. Celebrate small wins and focus on the progress you’re making. Remember, every step forward is a step in the right direction.
  5. Surround yourself with positivity: Spend time with people who uplift and encourage you. Limit your exposure to negativity, and seek out inspiration from those who radiate a positive attitude.

Get past customers to come back

#Restaurant#Restaurants#clothing#shoes#boots

Have you ever seen that show Kitchen Nightmares?

Every week a failing restaurant calls in world-renowned chef Gordon Ramsay to help them.

Over the course of the episode, he tears apart everything from the decor to the management to the menu itself, and then he re-opens the restaurant to the general public.

While this makes for great TV…

I have heard it’s actually terrible for the restaurant owners!

Not only do they get embarrassed on national television…

Many also wind up losing their business after the fact anyway!

4/5 restaurants, I read, featured on the show closed – and most of them shut their doors within months of Gordon coming through.

There’s a MUCH better way to help local restaurants – and with my method, you can make recurring monthly income in the process!

Let me explain…

Thousands of birthdays are celebrated every single year in your local area.

That’s why focusing on birthdays is an incredibly effective marketing strategy.

But most small business owners are completely blind to this.

Have a fishbowl to collect name & address for sending greeting cards on their birthday and other special occasions…..(emails & cell to create lists for daily/weekly specials) but on the cards, then also offer them a #FREEGIFT of some sort!

Not (what most business owners think) 15% off your meal for your birthday – which says they HAVE to buy something) but something TOTALLY FREE.

(another tip, don’t make it that day only, many people have plans w family or whatever, give them a week)

Like a FREE desert, or even meal…..(same not requiring anything though!

That is the catch!

Most business owners don’t want to do it…..just incase some cash in, and a few might…..BUT

when you add a requirement on top of a GIFT, it is NO LONGER a gift!

Many people, like me, you get a card/coupon like that in the mail, you maybe hold on to it, in case you decide to use it, if it is something you really like but many times, you just simply throw it out!

Now, granted, most times, if you give someone a #FREEDESERT or even a #FREEMEAL they are probably not coming in by thierself or only getting that, so they will spend more money w you anyway, but the key is, it wasn’t required!

You didn’t #NEGATE the #GIFT

So now, the restaurant will make more money from the sale for the extra effort. And with my Cards program, the restaurant could become an #affiliate and earn $ referring their clients too, that choose to sign up, when they get a birthday card, maybe they see, they should send cards to their clients in their company, and so on 🙂

This actually happened to us personally w a #Boot company, sent us a totally no strings gift card – we could have spent just that amount, but of course my husband went online and found something he wanted that was about 10x’s the amount of the gift card that store “gifted” us….Think they thought it was worth it?

So clothing & shoe stores and other shopping can use this same idea as well!

This is one of the biggest things, I teach, coach, and train, and do business consulting with many major corporations….And it is one of the techniques I have used in running the several businesses I own, to be VERY successful over the last 30+ years…..

5 tips for starting the New Year off right in your Business

Laurie’ s Lessons 1-1-24 5 Tips To Start The New Year In Your Business right

  1. 1. Reignite and Refocus:
  • Reflect & Review: Take a moment to evaluate your past year’s performance. What worked well? What could be improved? Analyze your top sellers, most engaged leads, and successful marketing strategies. Identify areas for growth and set SMART goals for the new year.
  • Recommit & Reenergize: Reconnect with your “why” – what motivated you to start your network marketing journey? This passion will fuel your drive and focus as you tackle new challenges in the year ahead.
  1. Sharpen Your Tools:
  • Revamp Your Brand: Assess your website, social media presence, and marketing materials. Is your brand messaging still impactful and aligned with your goals? Consider freshening up your visuals, refining your value proposition, and ensuring everything reflects your professional and passionate approach.
  • Embrace New Technologies: Explore new tools and platforms that can streamline your business operations, enhance communication, and boost your marketing reach. Utilize automation systems, social media scheduling tools, or analytics platforms to work smarter, not harder.
  1. Strengthen Your Network:
  • Reactivate Relationships: Reconnect with past leads, team members, and customers who may have fallen off the radar. Show appreciation for their previous engagement and offer valuable updates or reintroduce your products/services.
  • Expand Your Reach: Step outside your comfort zone and actively network in new spaces. Attend industry events, join online communities, or collaborate with complementary businesses to attract fresh leads and potential partners.
  1. Prioritize Value and Education:
  • Become a Product Expert: Deepen your knowledge of your products or services. Attend company trainings, participate in webinars, and stay up-to-date on the latest industry trends and innovations. This expertise will empower you to confidently answer questions, address concerns, and showcase the true value you offer.
  • Focus on Education and Support: Don’t just sell, educate and empower your team and leads. Share valuable tips, product tutorials, success stories, and motivational resources. Building trust and fostering personal growth within your network will lead to stronger long-term relationships and loyalty.
  1. Celebrate and Adapt:
  • Recognize Milestones: Celebrate your achievements, no matter how small. Acknowledge your team’s successes and milestones to keep everyone motivated and engaged.
  • Embrace Continuous Improvement: Be open to learning and adapting. Monitor your progress, analyze results, and adjust your strategies as needed. Don’t be afraid to experiment with new approaches and embrace flexibility to navigate evolving market conditions.

Remember, success in network marketing is a marathon, not a sprint. By following these tips and staying committed to your goals, you can set yourself up for a thriving and rewarding year ahead.

5 tips for building your Network Marketing Business

Hey, everyone! Good evening. This is Laurie Delk Radecki. And I’m gonna talk to you tonight. This is what I call my Laurie’s lessons, and I’m gonna talk to you tonight about 5 tips for building in your network marketing business.

And so one thing I always say is, define your niche and your target market so like, before promoting your products or your service.
determine what niche – who you want to reach. Right? So like a lot of people say, Oh, I want to reach anybody that has skin, that I can put a patch on right, and you can do that literally. You can do that. But when you determine what niche you want to market to, because you like my friend Kari, she has a sister that has had amazing results with the patches. And of course she has, too.
But that’s one of her niches as she goes after people with the the in the niche of the same issues that her sister has.
and so she can still market to everybody else in the world, too. But that’s just one of her specific niches. So think about that of different people that you want to reach out to different people that you connect with, or different people, that you are. That you work with that, you network with
different groups, you’re in different hobbies. You have things like that where you can target. Do a target of certain people. This helps you to tailor your approach and helps your messaging to resonate with those specific audiences, and that makes your efforts more effective.
And another thing is to build and develop a strong personal brand. So people buy from those they know, like trust.
And remember. So everybody has said that for years of no like and trust. But I add, remember to that, because if they don’t remember you when it comes time for them to make a buying decision, or they need your product or your service.
Then it doesn’t matter right? They’re gonna go Google for somebody else. And whoever comes up
in the search engine, that’s who they’re gonna end up signing up with right? So you want to build your personal brand
online and offline. But through your authentic interactions, right? Because there’s lots of people that sell and do, or promote or do the same service, or anything of what you do.
So why should people buy from you? Right? People buy more you now. They might want your product, but they’re gonna buy into you like. Otherwise they could buy from any other rep in the same company right? So showcase your expertise, share your passion, and why you love it. That helps establish that trust. That also helps you to attract potential customers and even other collaborators.
And then you also wanna focus on creating value. And so if people don’t see the value, you know, they’re not gonna sign up right? So you want them to see the value, create the value instead of solely focusing just on your sales.

prioritize and provide valuable content, provide resources and support to your network. That’s why one of the reasons why I do these team trainings. That’s why we have private Facebook group for our team. I have a private email list for our team.
I text people on our team because I provide extra support that some other teams might not offer or in different ways right? So I always try to do these trainings every week, and then my sponsor has different trainings in his group, and so those together can help you
go and enroll faster and help you build.

and it also involves, you know, educational webinars. We do different hosting, different QA. Sessions we share informative, you know, blog posts, social media content you can use. That’s that’s compliant by consistently adding value. You build that trust and that loyalty which leads to organic growth.

And then you also want to leverage the power of social media. So in this day and age, if you’re not on social media like, they say you’re missing out. You need to leverage the power of social media. So you know a lot of people. Some people say, you know that they don’t wanna be on social media or whatever, and that’s your choice. But if you wanna build
and you don’t, you know, if you go out to networking all the time in person. Then that’s great. You can build that way. We have lots of people doing that way. You can go out to different events, and you can have boosts, and you can build that way, too. But you can also build on social media, and that’s so easy because you could do it in minutes a day, just by connecting with people and adding to people.

So we do lots of training on that and our team. But you wanna utilize the different social media platforms to connect with your target audiences. You want to share engaging content. And you want to build relationships with people. The same thing. You don’t wanna just post and spam and post and spam because people are gonna unfollow. You.

right? You want to build those relationships with people you want to connect with people. Then you can also, if you want, you can run targeted ads to pay for them. If you want to, you can participate in different relevant groups and discussions join groups where you have
different hobbies join where you have different likes, you know. Like I’m in some widows groups. I’m in some cops, wives groups those from long time ago. I’m in networking groups. I’m in homeschool mom groups because I homeschooled my kids.

So there’s lots of different groups that you can join. I’m in web and graphics, design and branding and marketing groups because I’ve done that for 30 years. So join different groups where you have different hobbies or habits, or likes, or things that you’d love to do

and utilize your social media stories for authentic and real time engagement, so like you’ll see on my pages if you follow me. On the social media. It’s
just the Lori Delk on all the different channels. You’ll see my name is listed as Laurie Delci since I got remarried a few years ago. But but the chain, the actual channels I didn’t change, and so but that’s it. You build those and you build those up, and then you
provide that valuable content and being authentic like. If you go to my page. I might post things about the business, but I’m also posting things about my grandkids, about my kids, about my dog, about my cat, about the house. You know all different kinds of things, things, places. We go out to dinner, you know. You want to
connect with people
with what you do, because people want to connect with you. Right? So it’s just like like having your coffee shop, you know, conversations, but online.
and then always be consistent and be persistent. So building a successful network marketing business requires time, effort, and consistent action like you can’t just plan to, you know. Say, oh, I’m gonna build this, and then expect to be, you know, making $5,000 a week, you know, in a week, right? Or in a month. Right? You have to. You know, some people might be able to do that much.
but that’s not normal, right? And so you can get there and you can get there very quickly. But you have to be patient. You have to be persistent, and you have to be committed to your long term goals. It doesn’t mean that you have to be aggravating to people, or scammy, or spammy, or pushy, but just, persistent, and consistent, and be patient and follow up.
track your progress, analyze what works, adapt your strategies to ensure that continuous growth and improvement.

and then also embrace technology, use the different various online tools and resources to automate your tasks, right, manage your network track, your progress. This frees up your time to focus on building relationships and engaging with your audiences. Right? So
I use lots of different things. You know. II use

I mean everything on the computer. You know. I use excel or numbers with Mac. To keep track of things and to chart things. I use an email list to keep in touch with my team as well as my customers and my prospects.
I use all the different social media channels. I use the send out cards to send out cards to my team, and as well as to my prospects to give them more information and give them different things and different tips on different ideas.
And I use like, I said, the social media channels. You can post on different ones. Some, you know, some like the Instagram versus Facebook versus Linkedin. And I’m not gonna go into that social media training because we’ve got some other trainings on that, but go into those different ones and check those out. You can find the different ones.
And find our other trainings also on my Youtube and in my Facebook group for my team, you can find those and look those up and watch those as well. So
thanks everyone for being on, and I hope these tips quick tips helped you, and I’ll see you next time. Thanks so much. Everyone have a good night.
