The Unconventional Power of Authentic Presence: Building a Thriving Business by Simply Being You

“In a world saturated with carefully crafted personas and scripted strategies, there exists a profound truth that often gets overlooked: your most potent asset is your authentic self. Sometimes, the very key to unlocking extraordinary business success lies not in mimicking others, but in embracing the unique essence that is you. And sometimes, it’s precisely that missing piece of genuine self-expression that’s holding you back.”

“Let me share a glimpse into my journey. Since September 2022, I’ve personally welcomed 105 individuals into my network marketing family. That’s an average of 3-4 reps per month, and here’s the kicker: I’ve achieved this while being the most delightfully ‘casual’ full-time network marketer you’re likely to encounter. I prioritize moments with my grandchildren, cherish time with my husband, and frequently set aside my devices to be fully present in the moment. My life is a testament to the power of balance, authenticity, and unwavering consistency.”

“My success isn’t built on relentless hustle or manufactured perfection. It stems from something far more powerful: people looking at me and genuinely believing, ‘If she can do it, so can I.’ I’m simply being myself, unapologetically and a little loudly, even as an introvert. I’ve discovered that consistency in sharing my authentic self online, even in small doses, creates a magnetic pull. While many network marketers diligently follow prescribed scripts, the true struggle for most lies in the fear of revealing their genuine selves.”

“Here’s the secret: weave pieces of your story into your content consistently. Don’t just mention it once; let it become the thread that connects with your audience. For me, anyone who follows my journey knows immediately why I do what I do: to cherish moments with my grandchildren, to travel freely with my husband, and to live life on our own terms. I SHOW people that I’m living the life I claim to want.”

“If you’re preaching time freedom but your audience only sees you chained to your desk, you’re missing the mark. You’re not just telling them about a dream; you’re inviting them to step into it with you. The magic happens when people can live vicariously through your experiences and realize they, too, can achieve that life by following your lead. This is the essence of true inspiration. It’s not about selling a product; it’s about sharing a lifestyle.”

“Being authentic is not just a feel-good philosophy; it’s a strategic advantage. It’s more effective than any polished, pre-packaged strategy. When you show up as your true self, you forge genuine connections. People connect with the real you, not some unattainable ideal. They see a reflection of themselves, a possibility within reach.”

“In a world of curated online personas, dare to be different. Dare to be real. Let your life speak for itself, and let your authenticity be the beacon that draws others to your vision. Embrace the power of your unique story, and watch as your business flourishes in ways you never thought possible. Remember, your most authentic self is your most powerful brand.”

10 tips to staying motivated during hard times

10 Tips to Stay Motivated in your business During Tough Times in life and/or your business

Laurie shared ten tips to stay motivated in business and life during challenging times, emphasizing the importance of self-care, setting realistic goals, and finding a support system. She also shared her personal experiences and strategies, such as creating vision boards and prioritizing physical and mental health. Laurie encouraged attendees to apply these tips to their own lives and businesses, focusing on the positive and remembering their ‘why’.

Staying Motivated in Challenging Times

Laurie discussed ten tips to stay motivated in business and life during challenging times. She emphasized the importance of self-care, setting realistic goals, finding a support system, visualizing success, celebrating small wins, taking breaks, limiting distractions, taking action, seeking professional help when needed, focusing on the positive, and remembering one’s ‘why’. Laurie also shared her personal experiences and strategies, such as creating vision boards, prioritizing physical and mental health, and limiting distractions. She encouraged attendees to apply these tips to their own lives and businesses.

1. Practice Self-Care: Prioritize your physical AND mental health. Get enough sleep, eat well, and engage in activities that relax and rejuvenate you. Go for a walk for at least 15 min a day. Wear your patches for optimum health! My minimums are victory, defend and focus (I normally also wear ignite to burn an extra 400 calories, Lumi for my skin, Peace to stay de-stressed and help gut health, REM to sleep, Rocket during the day)

2. Set Realistic Goals: Break down large tasks into smaller, manageable ones. This can make them feel less overwhelming and more achievable. Follow a DMO, and do at least your minimums DAILY. Have you wrote your goals down? Have you talked w your sponsor or upline about your goals? the more you share them and talk about them, the more your brain will believe them and the better for you to stay motivated to go to work on them – have 10 year goals, 5 year goals, 1 year goals, then monthly goals, weekly goals, what are you committing to daily goals?

3. Find a Support System: Connect with peers, friends, family, or a support group who can offer understanding and encouragement. Jump on ANY n ALL zoom calls you can – even if they say the same thing, it HELPS your mindset….plus repetitive is learning and the more you learn the more you will earn!

4. Visualize Success: Imagine your business thriving and achieving your goals. This can help boost your motivation and confidence. Vision boards – search miracle workers for Krystle’s training on teh digital vision board – I have done this for over 15 years – each year – my desktop is that years vision board, it is SO neat to compare years, and see what I have accomplished and it REALLY helps during those times – eve later in life when you get discouraged (cuz top leaders sTILL get discouraged, they just may not show it as much – as part of their job is to motivate you!)

5. Celebrate Small Wins: Acknowledge and reward yourself for your accomplishments, no matter how small. This can help you stay focused and motivated. go back to work quick, but make sure you celebrate!

6. Take Breaks: Stepping away from your work can help prevent burnout and increase your productivity. One thing I do is every hour I am at the computer – I take at least a 5-10 min break and get up and walk around, run around etc – chase the grandson

7. Limit Distractions & Take Action: Create a dedicated workspace and minimize distractions to help you stay focused. Turn off all notifications. Take SOME sort of ACTION daily – do a post on socials, message 5 people, add 5 friends to your list, do BLIMP

8. Seek Professional Help: If you’re struggling to cope with a tragedy, consider seeking professional help from a coach, therapist or counselor.

9. Focus on the Positive: Try to focus on the positive aspects of your business and the progress you’ve made. Write 10 IAM statements and read them DAILY in the “current state” pray over them daily if you pray….(this is how I attracted my husband – you can do it for team members too!)

10. Remember Your “Why”: Remind yourself of the reasons why you started your business and the impact it can have. This can help you stay motivated even during difficult times. Why did you pull out that credit card that day when you joined?
