The Empowering “Out”- The Secret Weapon of Prospecting Champions

Laurie’s Lessons – Have you ever felt like your outreach messages are hitting a brick wall? You pour your heart into crafting the perfect pitch, only to be met with silence or a polite “not interested.” Here’s the truth: the key to successful prospecting isn’t about forcing the close, it’s about unlocking the power of the “out.”

Imagine this: You’re scaling a mountain. You wouldn’t attempt the summit without proper gear and a clear path, would you? Prospecting is similar. The “out” is your safety rope, your map, and your compass. It allows you to navigate the terrain of potential customers with confidence and respect.

So, why is the “out” so powerful?

  • It Shifts the Focus: Forget desperate pleas for a sale. The “out” lets you focus on genuine connection. You’re not chasing a “yes” at all costs, but rather exploring a potential fit. It creates a more relaxed and collaborative atmosphere.
  • It Empowers You: The “out” gives you control. You’re not waiting for someone else’s approval. You’re proactively seeking those genuinely interested in what you offer. This confidence translates into your communication, making you sound more authentic and persuasive.
  • It Eliminates Resistance: The “out” disarms objections before they even arise. It acknowledges that your offering wouldn’t be a perfect fit for everyone. This proactive approach disrupts the typical sales dynamic and fosters a more open conversation.
  • It Qualifies Leads Faster: The “out” acts as a filter. Those who aren’t interested will readily opt out, saving you valuable time and energy. It allows you to focus your efforts on those truly intrigued by what you have to share.

How to Master the Art of the “Out”:

  • Embrace Transparency: Be upfront about your intentions. Don’t mislead with aggressive pitches. Instead, say something like, “Hey, I’m exploring a new product and wanted to see if you might be interested in learning more.”
  • Offer Value First: Focus on providing a benefit, even if it’s just a conversation. For example, “I’m curious about your experience in [their field]. Perhaps you could offer some insights, while I share a new approach I’m exploring.”
  • Keep it Simple: Avoid overwhelming the recipient with a barrage of information. A concise message with a clear “out” is more likely to spark genuine interest.
  • Respect the Response: If someone says no, thank them for their time and move on gracefully. Respecting their decision fosters goodwill and opens the door for future opportunities.

The “out” isn’t a sign of weakness; it’s a sign of strength. It demonstrates confidence, respect, and a focus on building genuine connections. By embracing the “out,” you’ll transform your prospecting from a pushy sales tactic into a powerful tool for building relationships and attracting ideal customers. Remember, the journey to the top is easier when you’re well-equipped and open to collaboration. So, grab your metaphorical “out” and start your ascent with confidence!

Are you consistenly inconsistent?

➡️➡️ Are you consistently inconsistent?

🔵 Do you go to.a live event, then some training, then read a book, even teach what you learn, maybe even speak on stage about it! You have LOTS of content, right?

🔵 What are you doing to get people to buy your program? Or join your email list? Are you regularly blogging, writing to your social medial wall, sending notes to your list…..

🔵 Your calendar shows you are booked and busy. You have lots of podcasts and ebooks downloaded but hadn’t read or listened to yet, as you hadn’t had time.

🔵 Are you getting to the actual planning, execution, and actions to take you to the next level? You have to actually start taking action if you want to see results!

🟩🟩🟩🟩 Consistently 🟩🟩🟩🟩

🔵 Consistently produce content. Blog, Podcast, Facebook, YouTube. It needs to be timely, it needs to be relevant, and it needs to be consistent.

🔵 Consistently share that content with your email list. You don’t have to write a book and it doesn’t have to be extravagant! Take the topic from your content, make a creative subject line, then add a few lines from the content, and then link to it on your website. This brings more traction to your website as well.

🔵 Consistently add people to your email list so it grows. People that you meet, that you network with, that you speak to at an event. Add them to your list. Use your social to grow your email list. Talking to people at the other places? Tell them about your free ebook. Consistently.

🔵 You must have a consistent outreaching plan. Don’t just grow your followers, and friends talk to them! Message 5 people per day on Facebook and LinkedIn to start conversations, REAL conversations, and then come back to me in a few months and tell me all about your new success.

🔵 Consistent measuring. Do you check to see how many new people you got on your list in a month? Do you have a system to see how many opened it? Or how many clicked the links? Do you check to see how many you converted to paying clients?

We can go to training. We can follow top leaders. We can buy the right software and tools. But if we don’t take action, we will not see results.
If we are not consistent – we will not see results. We need to plan and implement.

Get past customers to come back

#Restaurant#Restaurants#clothing#shoes#boots

Have you ever seen that show Kitchen Nightmares?

Every week a failing restaurant calls in world-renowned chef Gordon Ramsay to help them.

Over the course of the episode, he tears apart everything from the decor to the management to the menu itself, and then he re-opens the restaurant to the general public.

While this makes for great TV…

I have heard it’s actually terrible for the restaurant owners!

Not only do they get embarrassed on national television…

Many also wind up losing their business after the fact anyway!

4/5 restaurants, I read, featured on the show closed – and most of them shut their doors within months of Gordon coming through.

There’s a MUCH better way to help local restaurants – and with my method, you can make recurring monthly income in the process!

Let me explain…

Thousands of birthdays are celebrated every single year in your local area.

That’s why focusing on birthdays is an incredibly effective marketing strategy.

But most small business owners are completely blind to this.

Have a fishbowl to collect name & address for sending greeting cards on their birthday and other special occasions…..(emails & cell to create lists for daily/weekly specials) but on the cards, then also offer them a #FREEGIFT of some sort!

Not (what most business owners think) 15% off your meal for your birthday – which says they HAVE to buy something) but something TOTALLY FREE.

(another tip, don’t make it that day only, many people have plans w family or whatever, give them a week)

Like a FREE desert, or even meal…..(same not requiring anything though!

That is the catch!

Most business owners don’t want to do it…..just incase some cash in, and a few might…..BUT

when you add a requirement on top of a GIFT, it is NO LONGER a gift!

Many people, like me, you get a card/coupon like that in the mail, you maybe hold on to it, in case you decide to use it, if it is something you really like but many times, you just simply throw it out!

Now, granted, most times, if you give someone a #FREEDESERT or even a #FREEMEAL they are probably not coming in by thierself or only getting that, so they will spend more money w you anyway, but the key is, it wasn’t required!

You didn’t #NEGATE the #GIFT

So now, the restaurant will make more money from the sale for the extra effort. And with my Cards program, the restaurant could become an #affiliate and earn $ referring their clients too, that choose to sign up, when they get a birthday card, maybe they see, they should send cards to their clients in their company, and so on 🙂

This actually happened to us personally w a #Boot company, sent us a totally no strings gift card – we could have spent just that amount, but of course my husband went online and found something he wanted that was about 10x’s the amount of the gift card that store “gifted” us….Think they thought it was worth it?

So clothing & shoe stores and other shopping can use this same idea as well!

This is one of the biggest things, I teach, coach, and train, and do business consulting with many major corporations….And it is one of the techniques I have used in running the several businesses I own, to be VERY successful over the last 30+ years…..

  • Reflect & Review: Take a moment to evaluate your past year’s performance. What worked well? What could be improved? Analyze your top sellers, most engaged leads, and successful marketing strategies. Identify areas for growth and set SMART goals for the new year.
  • Recommit & Reenergize: Reconnect with your “why” – what motivated you to start your network marketing journey? This passion will fuel your drive and focus as you tackle new challenges in the year ahead.
  1. Sharpen Your Tools:
  • Revamp Your Brand: Assess your website, social media presence, and marketing materials. Is your brand messaging still impactful and aligned with your goals? Consider freshening up your visuals, refining your value proposition, and ensuring everything reflects your professional and passionate approach.

  • Expand Your Reach: Step outside your comfort zone and actively network in new spaces. Attend industry events, join online communities, or collaborate with complementary businesses to attract fresh leads and potential partners.
  1. Prioritize Value and Education:
  • Become a Product Expert: Deepen your knowledge of your products or services. Attend company trainings, participate in webinars, and stay up-to-date on the latest industry trends and innovations. This expertise will empower you to confidently answer questions, address concerns, and showcase the true value you offer.
  • Focus on Education and Support: Don’t just sell, educate and empower your team and leads. Share valuable tips, product tutorials, success stories, and motivational resources. Building trust and fostering personal growth within your network will lead to stronger long-term relationships and loyalty.
  1. Celebrate and Adapt:
  • Recognize Milestones: Celebrate your achievements, no matter how small. Acknowledge your team’s successes and milestones to keep everyone motivated and engaged.
  • Embrace Continuous Improvement: Be open to learning and adapting. Monitor your progress, analyze results, and adjust your strategies as needed. Don’t be afraid to experiment with new approaches and embrace flexibility to navigate evolving market conditions.

5 tips for building your Network Marketing Business

Hey, everyone! Good evening. This is Laurie Delk Radecki. And I’m gonna talk to you tonight. This is what I call my Laurie’s lessons, and I’m gonna talk to you tonight about 5 tips for building in your network marketing business.

And so one thing I always say is, define your niche and your target market so like, before promoting your products or your service.
determine what niche – who you want to reach. Right? So like a lot of people say, Oh, I want to reach anybody that has skin, that I can put a patch on right, and you can do that literally. You can do that. But when you determine what niche you want to market to, because you like my friend Kari, she has a sister that has had amazing results with the patches. And of course she has, too.
But that’s one of her niches as she goes after people with the the in the niche of the same issues that her sister has.
and so she can still market to everybody else in the world, too. But that’s just one of her specific niches. So think about that of different people that you want to reach out to different people that you connect with, or different people, that you are. That you work with that, you network with
different groups, you’re in different hobbies. You have things like that where you can target. Do a target of certain people. This helps you to tailor your approach and helps your messaging to resonate with those specific audiences, and that makes your efforts more effective.
And another thing is to build and develop a strong personal brand. So people buy from those they know, like trust.
And remember. So everybody has said that for years of no like and trust. But I add, remember to that, because if they don’t remember you when it comes time for them to make a buying decision, or they need your product or your service.
Then it doesn’t matter right? They’re gonna go Google for somebody else. And whoever comes up
in the search engine, that’s who they’re gonna end up signing up with right? So you want to build your personal brand
online and offline. But through your authentic interactions, right? Because there’s lots of people that sell and do, or promote or do the same service, or anything of what you do.
So why should people buy from you? Right? People buy more you now. They might want your product, but they’re gonna buy into you like. Otherwise they could buy from any other rep in the same company right? So showcase your expertise, share your passion, and why you love it. That helps establish that trust. That also helps you to attract potential customers and even other collaborators.
And then you also wanna focus on creating value. And so if people don’t see the value, you know, they’re not gonna sign up right? So you want them to see the value, create the value instead of solely focusing just on your sales.

prioritize and provide valuable content, provide resources and support to your network. That’s why one of the reasons why I do these team trainings. That’s why we have private Facebook group for our team. I have a private email list for our team.
I text people on our team because I provide extra support that some other teams might not offer or in different ways right? So I always try to do these trainings every week, and then my sponsor has different trainings in his group, and so those together can help you
go and enroll faster and help you build.

and it also involves, you know, educational webinars. We do different hosting, different QA. Sessions we share informative, you know, blog posts, social media content you can use. That’s that’s compliant by consistently adding value. You build that trust and that loyalty which leads to organic growth.

And then you also want to leverage the power of social media. So in this day and age, if you’re not on social media like, they say you’re missing out. You need to leverage the power of social media. So you know a lot of people. Some people say, you know that they don’t wanna be on social media or whatever, and that’s your choice. But if you wanna build
and you don’t, you know, if you go out to networking all the time in person. Then that’s great. You can build that way. We have lots of people doing that way. You can go out to different events, and you can have boosts, and you can build that way, too. But you can also build on social media, and that’s so easy because you could do it in minutes a day, just by connecting with people and adding to people.

So we do lots of training on that and our team. But you wanna utilize the different social media platforms to connect with your target audiences. You want to share engaging content. And you want to build relationships with people. The same thing. You don’t wanna just post and spam and post and spam because people are gonna unfollow. You.

right? You want to build those relationships with people you want to connect with people. Then you can also, if you want, you can run targeted ads to pay for them. If you want to, you can participate in different relevant groups and discussions join groups where you have
different hobbies join where you have different likes, you know. Like I’m in some widows groups. I’m in some cops, wives groups those from long time ago. I’m in networking groups. I’m in homeschool mom groups because I homeschooled my kids.

So there’s lots of different groups that you can join. I’m in web and graphics, design and branding and marketing groups because I’ve done that for 30 years. So join different groups where you have different hobbies or habits, or likes, or things that you’d love to do

and utilize your social media stories for authentic and real time engagement, so like you’ll see on my pages if you follow me. On the social media. It’s
just the Lori Delk on all the different channels. You’ll see my name is listed as Laurie Delci since I got remarried a few years ago. But but the chain, the actual channels I didn’t change, and so but that’s it. You build those and you build those up, and then you
provide that valuable content and being authentic like. If you go to my page. I might post things about the business, but I’m also posting things about my grandkids, about my kids, about my dog, about my cat, about the house. You know all different kinds of things, things, places. We go out to dinner, you know. You want to
connect with people
with what you do, because people want to connect with you. Right? So it’s just like like having your coffee shop, you know, conversations, but online.
and then always be consistent and be persistent. So building a successful network marketing business requires time, effort, and consistent action like you can’t just plan to, you know. Say, oh, I’m gonna build this, and then expect to be, you know, making $5,000 a week, you know, in a week, right? Or in a month. Right? You have to. You know, some people might be able to do that much.
but that’s not normal, right? And so you can get there and you can get there very quickly. But you have to be patient. You have to be persistent, and you have to be committed to your long term goals. It doesn’t mean that you have to be aggravating to people, or scammy, or spammy, or pushy, but just, persistent, and consistent, and be patient and follow up.
track your progress, analyze what works, adapt your strategies to ensure that continuous growth and improvement.

and then also embrace technology, use the different various online tools and resources to automate your tasks, right, manage your network track, your progress. This frees up your time to focus on building relationships and engaging with your audiences. Right? So
I use lots of different things. You know. II use

I mean everything on the computer. You know. I use excel or numbers with Mac. To keep track of things and to chart things. I use an email list to keep in touch with my team as well as my customers and my prospects.
I use all the different social media channels. I use the send out cards to send out cards to my team, and as well as to my prospects to give them more information and give them different things and different tips on different ideas.
And I use like, I said, the social media channels. You can post on different ones. Some, you know, some like the Instagram versus Facebook versus Linkedin. And I’m not gonna go into that social media training because we’ve got some other trainings on that, but go into those different ones and check those out. You can find the different ones.
And find our other trainings also on my Youtube and in my Facebook group for my team, you can find those and look those up and watch those as well. So
thanks everyone for being on, and I hope these tips quick tips helped you, and I’ll see you next time. Thanks so much. Everyone have a good night.

Tips for your network marketing business

Hey, everyone, this is Laurie Delk Radecki And tonight I’m gonna talk to you about some tips in your network marketing business. And so it can be in any business, no matter what you’re in. And so I’m just gonna give you a few tips. I have a whole lot. But I’m just gonna give you a few tonight. So

one of the first ones is, take your selling seriously. When you begin a network marketing, you know, you invest in your products. And you want to be a product of the product. So find a company that you can align yourself with that. You’re gonna believe in the products. You’re gonna use the products or service, whichever that is.

But you’re gonna invest your time, you’re gonna invest your effort. You’re gonna invest your genuine care. And but you need to be a product of the product. Don’t ever join something just because of how much money you can make or whatever cause. Then that’s not gonna work. You need to love the product. You need to love the service. You need to love the company

all that together, whatever that is, you need to be in love with the product just like, you know the old Kirby salesman. Right? If you weren’t, if you didn’t own a Kirby, but you were selling them. That doesn’t make any sense right? You need to sell, and you need to be aligned with something that you totally believe in.
And then next, you want to
always treat people with respect, so you might reach out to your friends and your family, and most companies tell you to do that reach out to your friends and family and share it with them, and there’s nothing wrong with that. And I know some companies now try to say, Oh, don’t do that. Well, if you really love your product.

and you really think it can help people. then, if you don’t share it with your family and friends, you’re doing them a disservice. If you really think
truly, believe that your product or service is helpful.

then, if you don’t share it with your family and friends. When they find out, what are they gonna say to you? They’re gonna say, why didn’t you tell me about that? Right?
So you need to tell people. But you still need to respect them. Right? So if they’re not interested.

that’s okay, if they are interested. But they have lots of questions. That’s okay. Right? If they join and they don’t do anything. That’s okay. Let everybody do what they want to do and let everybody join where they want to join at and do what they want to do. You can always coach and guide them and help them with different things, and you should definitely do that, especially if you want to be a leader. But

you still be okay with whatever somebody wants to do, or however they want to join, or if they don’t want to join, or if they only want to be a customer, all those things you want to be respectful of them
and their position.

And then another thing you want to do is you want to find a mentor? If you want to be successful in any company, you need to have a mentor. And so your mentor is, gonna be more than likely, more experience than you.

You can learn what strategies work for them and don’t work for them like with me. I share with people on my team what works for me? I share what I’m doing. I share what doesn’t work for me.

I share with people how to pitch or offer things to other people, how to say things. I design fliers and
images all the time to share on social media for my team. And so you want somebody that is going to be aligned with you like that, that where you can learn from someone that has more experience in the field, and is going to help you to grow and develop more professionally

and then, especially nowadays, utilize social media. So some people say that they don’t want to use social media, or they don’t use it very much, or they only use this platform or that platform.
and that’s fine if you want to only use certain ones, but especially nowadays. If you really want to do really well, you need to utilize social media. Most people are on some form of social media and the same thing. There’s still people that aren’t like my husband. But
you know, a lot of people are on it. So if you want to really reach a lot of people.
and you don’t want to have to spend a lot of time on the phone or doing that belly to belly marketing, which is nothing wrong with that, and I totally love that. But if you want to reach a lot of people you want to be on social media. And so each platform has different tools. You can use to promote your business.

But you know, like tick, tock is all videos. Instagram is mostly images, but can do videos. Also, Facebook is text images, videos, anything that you want.
And the thing is, you know, definitely, you want to figure out where your playground is, and what you like the most. but I still recommend that you be on some of the other ones also, and just use them some and build up your followers as well. Your friends list or your followers.

and the same thing. Get with your sponsor. Get with somebody that you can learn from. I post things all the time, and I tell people on my team you’re welcome to use anything that I post.
and then think about your mindset. One of the biggest things, and one of the biggest struggles for most people and network marketing, or in any business, for that matter. is your mindset.

People with healthy mindsets, with professional mindsets that have motivated mindsets are always gonna go farther, and you should always be learning and growing so just like on this training, you should be learning and growing. You should be watching training videos. You should be listening to training videos. I do this. I put it on Youtube. I put it on my podcast I put it on my website, I put it in my team group.

and
it always amazes me of people that ask me the same questions of something I just trained on.
And I do this for my team mainly. And so.
you know, learn from your mentors. And if you want to be
in that area and get to that next level, you need to upgrade your mindset. And you need to learn. And you need to be growing every single day.
and then then you also want to be consistent. So network marketing requires people to be very consistent. If you want to generate profits and money in this field, you want to be consistently reaching out to potential clients, to prospects
consistently showing people that you still use the product right? So like, I use our patches right that your business is still available, that they can participate whenever they’re ready. You can be consistent by following up with interested people.

You want to post on your social media regularly. You want to keep in touch with the people that have asked you about it that haven’t signed up yet, and follow up with them. Tell them, you know, if if this is how it is in your company, you know it’s money back guaranteed. There’s no questions asked. You can try it. You have 30 days to send it back, etc.,

you know, whatever it is with your company always follow up.
Following up is one of the biggest things, and being consistent is another one of the biggest things.
You don’t want to jump companies all the time. People want to know that you’ve been in the same company for a long time.

The company that I was in before this I was in for 20 years, and I still use that product and service. So you you don’t want to be jumping all over the place. People want to know that they’re with somebody who’s gonna
stand there and be there, no matter what.
And then do your research. So
on your company, you know. Go to your own website, read every page, every word on every website. So you’re familiar with what is on your website log into your back office, click on every single link in your back office. You don’t have to do it all at once, so you don’t have to get overwhelmed.

But maybe every day spend 30 min to an hour of just clicking on links and finding where things are. So you know where they are and reading. So you get more in your head. You get more in your mind.

So that way, you know more like in our company. I tell people go to our testimonial site and read 3 to 5 testimonials every single day.

because the more you read, the more it gets into your head of what those testimonials are good for.
and then be authentic. So people
want to see the raw and the real you
right. They they don’t want to see somebody who’s fake, or if they meet you in person. They want to see that you’re you right. They don’t want to

find out that you’re like completely different, right? So when you meet me in person when you see me on stage, like I might like if I’m at an event, and I’m speaking in an event I might be dressed up a little bit more then, if you meet me in person. But
I’m still the same
right? And so that’s one thing. You want people you want to be authentic, and you want people to see that right
and then prepare yourself to sponsor other people. you know. That’s a given, obviously. But you want
people to join your team right? If you’re in network marketing and you want people to sign up, you wanna make money. You want people to join your team. So you need to be able to provide them some guidance. And you know some marketing strategies that you’ve learned. You wanna teach them about the products that the company sells right? So it’s always great to talk to your upline and be in touch with your upline and have them to ask questions.

and but you want them to hold your hand only so far right. You always want to be learning and growing so that way you can be better for your people as they come on your team.
and then
ask other people for you know marketing tactics. So if you’re not good at it, or if you’re not sure, like a lot of times. If I create something
I’ll post it on my wall, and I’ll ask other people, hey, what do you think about this? Or do you like it this way, or do you like it this way? I might create 2 different
marketing images that I’m gonna promote with right? And I might ask my following, you know which one do you like better? Which one catches your eye better, so you can do things like that as well.
And then remember, figure out who your target audience is, and so a lot of people call it the avatar like, who is your avatar as you’re selling a product, you know, I know, like I used to run network

networking groups locally for years, and I would have you know, a real estate agent come in and say, II want to sell. You know my customers. Anyone who wants to buy or sell a house same with mortgage. Brokers, right or insurance agents, or it’s anybody

think of a target audience. Think of what you want to go after like with us, with our company with the patches.
you know. Of course, anybody you know that has skin could use the patches, but
if you have a certain thing like for me, I had Major back and leg pain with sciatica.
So that can be one of my target audiences, because that’s what helped me. That’s what got me to pull out my credit card. So think about what got you to pull out your credit card.
and that may be your target. Audience, now, you can still sell to other people, of course. but you want to

narrow down who you’re going after and what you’re looking for that way you can really do targeted marketing right? And so you’re still, that doesn’t mean that you’re not going to do marketing for everybody or for something different, right?
But you just wanna figure out who is your target audience
and narrow it down to that a little bit. So that way you can promote to them like I said, you can still sell to other people.
and then listen to your potential clients and customers.
So as they ask you questions, listen to them. If you don’t know the answer, be okay with telling them that you don’t know but that you’ll find out.
and then ask your sponsor. But the thing is, listen to them. See what they say. Not every customer client might be different too. So what might work for one customer might not work for another customer. So that’s where you always want to listen to people, and be ready to change and answer the different people and the different ways that they need to be.

And so those are the the last of the tips that I’m going to share with you tonight. We’ve got lots more, and we do this training every single Monday night, so I hope you’ll tune in with us next time. Thanks, everyone.
