Beyond her business acumen, Laurie is a prolific author, having penned the best-selling books "Keep Those Clients" and "We All Have Choices," and co-founded the transformative "Gratitude Girls - 100 Day Gratitude Journal Challenge." She has also contributed her insights to three additional publications. As a sought-after motivational speaker and corporate sales trainer, Laurie inspires audiences with her authentic voice and empowering message, often called upon for special speaking engagements around the world. Her dedication to education is further evidenced by her five years of teaching at her children's Christian school and her subsequent decision to homeschool them, allowing her to balance her growing speaking career with her commitment to family.

We’ve got to go out to his other house today an hour away n finish the last bit of cleaning we have to do n then we will be down to two houses lol 😂 but….this is our creek on our road, hoping we can get back home tonight! Found water in our sunroom today too, smh 🤦‍♀️ Kevin said cane from the roof, so will need to get that fixed right away 🙄 all this moving, our birthday week we may just rest rather than go out of town lol 😝 we’ve been literally non stop wake up till crashing in bed since April every day….working much harder retired than when we had jobs! Lol 😂

SALES LESSON

I have done lots and lots of teaching and training to corporate sales teams over the years….so when I have an ‘issue’ with a company it can get interesting.

There is a specific product I really want, that’s been highly recommended to me, from a specific company, not mentioning names to protect them for now, and not ruin their reputation, but I still wanted to teach this lesson, and I just mst forward this post to them.

I filled out their form on the corporate webpage for more info from a dealer closest to me, about 100 miles. Granted we are/were willing to drive there to get it, or pay extra for them to deliver and install but they don’t know this yet cuz they didn’t even respond to me at all.

A week later I do the same from the corporate website but to another franchise dealer about 150 miles from us. Same issue.

I send an email to the corporate office. The owner responds n asks us to call, looking better….

He though gives us off to another franchise dealer in another state across the country. Guy is really nice on the phone, very helpful, but says he has to check on something n call us back……nada….another week, no call.

LESSON

This is a SIMPLE sale for this company. We were already ‘sold’ by several friends who highly recommended them. Over $1k, but yet the response rate is utterly ridiculous. If I wasn’t ‘so sold’ on this item, this brand, I would a LONG time ago gone to a competitor or similar item.

Don’t lose sales!!!! Simply respond to people that fill out your forms, respond to people that call, and if you have to check on something do so and then return the call

Mash w sour cream, butter, salt n pepper

I love using my #PamperedChef stone, got a new one that’s like the flat rectangle but w a lip, so can cook stuff like this…. line w #extravirginoliveoil put chicken breasts on it w salt n pepper, top w sour cream panko fry seasoning n little butter. Cook 8 min at 400

Take out, add green beans to other half n add salt n pepper 12-15 min drizzle chicken w spicy maple syrup. (I added the maple syrup w the sweet potatoes 😁)

Chocolate peanut butter healthy snacks

Made these late last night, had to fridge, so someone had them for an appetizer for breakfast! Lol he said they are awesome though……AND they are #healthydesert 😁

Only 4 ingredients and no baking 🙌🏻 #glutenfree #dairyfree

RECIPE:

🔅 4 tbsp coconut flour 🥥 (I used almond flour)

🔅 4 tablespoons honey 🍯

🔅 1 cup peanut butter 🥜 (I use natural. Or natural almond butter)

🔅 1 cup quality chocolate 🍫

🔺 Combine peanut butter on low speed with honey, add the flour and mix well

🔺 Making little balls and pressing each one

🔺 Melt chocolate on low stirring from time to time, you can dip cookies in it, I just poured over a bit, dipping looks better lol but I made these at midnight last night after packing n moving all day lol

🔺 Place on waxed paper. Wait a few minutes and refrigerate
